Nia Shanks is a writer, personal trainer, and lover of life who promotes no

many individuals as possible achieve their body composition and performance
goals through simple, tried and true, stress free strength training and
nutrition guidelines.

She received her personal training certification in 2004 and continued her
education at the University of Louisville where she graduated with a Bachelor�s
in Exercise Physiology with high honors.

Nia is also the SPF push/pull world record holder for her division with a bench
press of 145 pounds and a deadlift of 300 pounds at the bodyweight of 122.
Finally, Nia is the creator of the Lift Like a Girl Guide and the author of Fat
Loss Detour and Beautiful Badass, and the (S)hero Training Program.
