Hi. I'm 47, 5'1 and about 50
pounds overweight. I was thin even after having my four
children until about 10 years ago when it began to creep
on. I have always had a "tummy" even when I was
underweight...it seems to run in my family. My aunts and
my sister who have never had children or been overweight
even have "pots". I am working on it all now with diet and
exercise and have begun to lose. My concern is that my
abdomen is so loose and flabby, all the way down to and
including the entire pubic area. I am so self-conscious
that it has all but destroyed my sex life with my husband.
And then there's my butt... or rather the absence of it.
I, like my mother before me have noassatall syndrome and
though I quip it is very disheartening. What little tiny
bit of cheek there may have been at one time it sags to a
teeny point right at the center at the lowest area so it
sort of pulls the muscles around my anus down and it all
looks horrible! (even discussing it here is difficult) I
hate my body from just beneath my breasts to just above my
thighs. I can't even look at myself in the mirror. I'm not
totally negative, though; really. I have great breasts and
they're real, I have a very pretty face and look about 10
years younger in the face than I actually am. (that too
runs in my family). I have great hair (thick and
curly-ringlets, not course) and I have great legs and
pretty feet. So I have a lot going for me still but I need
to know what to do about my belly and my butt??!! And
also, once I lose the weight will I still have a pudgy
pubic area? This is just gross! I can't believe that any
amount of exercise will help enough. Is plastic surgery
going to be my only.

Gosh, I thought I was alone
with my belly fat. I am 5'2", lost 3 1b in 4 weeks on
1,100 cal per day, healthy, balanced diet. Though my
weight varies during the day by 2.lb, I am currently 130
lb. the trend is very slowly downward which is pleasing
but my tummy is fatter than ever. Crunches don't do a
thing. I am 43, no children, so no excuses about
childbirth being to blame. Its a comfort to read all the
posts about this and I have total sympathy for everyone

I had my gall bladder
removed when I was 20. I was so skinny in high school.
Everything went downhill after the surgery. After having 2
kids it has been worse for me to be able to get a flat
stomach. I work out all the time, I do crunches all the

I used to be an exotic dancer till about a month ago. I'm
a full time college student now. My question is this, what
does an average woman my height and weight look like? I

can still see the hip, rib and collar bones that I seen

your weight. Confidence. Anyways, I used these tips before

One of the best things going. If you have a salad, use
vinegar! Ranch dressing, and other dressings are high in

I just wanted to say that I
too am going through the same trouble w/ the mommy pouch
so to speak. I have a 3 mos. old son and lost all the
weight but now have the loose skin on belly and I too am
sickened by it. I just went out and got a home Gym, and no
matter how rough it is I am going to try and hope it
helps. I will let everyone out there going through the

I am 31 yrs old and weigh
114. I have cellulite on my thighs and I don't know how to
get rid of it. I exercise 4 out of 7 days. I have heard it
is dehydration of the body and I need to drink more water,
They say it is fat and to do cardio and/or weight
training. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to truly
loose it. Creams seem to be a joke. Thanks so much!!

I'm 55, in pretty good
shape, weight is 105, height 5'4". For such a tiny person
I have unusually large breasts. I walk or ride my bike
about 2 to 4 miles 4 to 5 times per week, and I use my
total gym 20 - 30 minutes 3 times a week and recently
(within the last month) have started to use 5 lbs free
weights for my arms). I just cannot get rid of my slightly
flabby underarms and the excess fat from my bust to under
my armpits. (My kids call them chicken parts. Most of the
flab or fat is located from my bust around and under my
arms. Please help. I also eat pretty healthy, except for
the occasionally pizza now and again. What can I do to
shape this area up and perhaps decrease the size of my
bust

Hi, I have just gone through
the menopause, the worst experience ever, I have been
putting the weight on steadily especially around my
stomach which depresses me greatly, the thing is I do not
eat a load of junk and I walk thirty minutes to work in
the morning and again in the evening, it just wont shift,
I am starting weight watchers tonight maybe they can help,
I want to be thin for my 50th birthday, anyone who says
they are happy fat is lying, I am not used to it and its
horrible I hate my body so much, I feel like it has let me
down.

Hello, don't have major
weight problems, I just put on 15 pounds and it all went
to my upper body, I have gone from a full c to 34dd. My
back and arms are noticeably larger. I walk 3-5 times a
week. I cut back back on sugars, increased my veg and
water consumption. Please someone help me. I just don't

I had a baby almost 2 years
ago. Before I had her I weighed a PERFECT 115lbs, after I
had her I lost most of my weight when she was a month old
I weighed 125lbs not too bad. then I got on the depo shot
(birth control) and the pounds just started pouring on me.

Hey guys I hear you loud and
clear. I had a little boy 4 years ago, and I cant go naked
in front of anyone including me it makes me so mad at
myself. When I stand I have all this loose skin just
dangling there, and when I sit its jus totally disgusting.
My stomach just seems to hang from one hip bone to the
other. When I lay down it seems to go away but when I look
at my stomach I can still see some wrinkles guessing
that's loose skin. I have tried everything, my legs also
have cellulite on them and I don't wear anything

Hey I have just started at
the local gym, as it is 2 weeks before a wedding I'm due
to go to and also my holiday in 3 weeks. I have no
motivation and the walk to the gym is over half an hour
proving that my exercise plan has not succeeded. I have

My suggestion to all who
want to tone up and lose weight is to hit free weights.
Girls, do not be afraid to go where the guys are in the
gym. I am one of the few women in my gym that work out in
that area but the results are amazing. Not only will you
become fit and strong but muscle burns more calories than
fat. It will speed up your metabolism the rest of the day.
Please do not set a weight goal for yourself. I am 5 ft 6,
a size 0 and weight 127 lbs. If I were to drop 10 pounds I
would look like death. I think women don't like to work
out with weight because they feel like they will get to
big and bulky. This is just not true. Genetically women
cannot attain huge muscles without steroids. I have people
come up to me almost on a daily basis asking what I do to
look so fit. It was not always like that. I use to weight
227 lbs and wear a size 22!! So it is not like I haven't
been on the other end of the spectrum. I have no loose
skin and no cellulite. Work out with weights!!! It works.

but I do have an excess amount of fat around my stomach,

I am 18 years old and very
fit except that I have about 2" of flab around my lower
abdomen. I eat a healthy diet and have cut down to one
small dessert a day. I tried doing different kinds of
crunches (200 total) every day for about a month. After
that, I tried doing 45 min. cardio workouts daily for 3
weeks, but I only see improvement in my abs, not in my
"love handles". Will wearing weights around my waist while
I'm exercising help at all, or will that only weigh me
