Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Do you take some kind of skin treatment to keep it young and glowing and secondly what you do to your hair to make them look so stunning?
Ms. Taylor Strecker: My skin regimen is minimalist because I have very sensitive skin and am prone to rosaceas. My favorite skincare line is La Roche Posay. I use their sunblock (its breakout free), their cleaner at night, and their moisturizer because it’s SPF 30. For makeup, I use Cover FX because it’s good for sensitive skin and covers like a dream. Major props to my dermatologist Dr. Anolik who did a laser treatment on me that changed my life.
My dear friends at 3 Square Studio developed a hair care line called Renessence, it’s a hair renewal shampoo which is great to regenerate growth if you have thinning hair (which I don’t), but it makes my hair super voluminous and thick.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Introduce us to your Reality Radio Show “Wake up! With Taylor”?
Ms. Taylor Strecker: I’m really proud of my Sirius XM Radio show Wake Up With Taylor on Stars 109 as I’ve invested the last decade of my life and built a really genuine, authentic relationship with the fans. I like to say my specialty is being everybody’s best friend. The shows tagline is A Pop-Culture, Celebrity Infused, LOL, Talk Show… that sums it up.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You’ve interviewed top celebrities like the Kardashians, Channing Tatum, Zach Braff, Kate Bosworth and many more on your show. Share with us your experience interviewing such big celebrities?
Ms. Taylor Strecker: What I try to do with every single celebrity is to humanize them. At the end of the day they are real people. A lot of interviewers ask the same questions over and over again and that tends to bore the audience. I like to take the celebrities out of their comfort zone–I Taylorfy them–which essentially means I make them talk about poop.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Tell us about your current Top 3 Fashion Must-Haves?
Ms. Taylor Strecker: I must always have an awesome sarong for the pool. I’m not walking around struttin’ my stuff in high heels and teency weency bikini. I need to cover up. Also, off the shoulder anything, it is so perfect for summer. Because, for me, right now, I’m wanting to work on my arms, but you can’t wear long sleeves because of the summer heat. Off the shoulder is really flattering to the décolletage, it’s also feminine and flirty and makes me feel like a total girl. Did I mention it covers the arms?
I’m also obsessed with wearing all of my blazers draped over my shoulders like a cape. I’ve blogged about all of these and many more lifestyle tips on my blog: taylorstrecker.com
