With four Olympic gold medals, you have set an American record for maximum gold medals in female gymnastics in a single Game. How do you feel about to become the first of a kind to write an Olympic History and to be able to inspire young girls targeting sports?
Ms. Simone Biles:
I hope my journey shows them that if you set your mind to something and work hard enough you can achieve your goals. It wasn’t easy, but with hard work, dedication and a positive attitude anything is possible in life.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Being a four times Olympic Gold-medalist calls for rigorous training, provide us with a glimpse of your training routine.
Ms. Simone Biles:
I train twice a day for a total of 5-7 hours Monday –Friday and then another 3-4 hours on Saturday. It’s demanding and rigorous, but I am confident that my coaches and I have found a system that best fits what my mind and body need in order for me to reach my goal of competing in 2020.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
To maintain an athletic and healthy body, you have to eat a proper diet. How do you manage your meals to get the right amount of nutrition? Also, share your favorite five cheat meals.
Ms. Simone Biles:
I try to fuel my body with the proper food and eat a balanced diet – salmon, fish, broccoli and lots of greens. I also always keep a banana and Core Power protein shakes on hand to have after a hard workout.
