Maya Clark was born in Colorado, Denver on September 17, 1980, of Melissa and Stern Clark. Her parents have emigrated to Toronto, Canada when she had grown up. Maya has earned a degree in Political Studies and Sociology at Queen’s University, Kingston. She also worked for a time in a bank in downtown Toronto. During her lunch breaks, Maya was wandering the St. Lawrence Market searching for different ingredients and inspiration for her next dinner party. Then Maya enrolled in the College of Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University in Denver, Colorado. Upon her graduation from the university, Maya traveled across the United States. She would eventually find her way to Niagara Falls. Maya was a pastry chef at Inn on the Twenty in Jordan, Ontario for six years, where she met her husband, chef James Nashville. In 2007 Maya gave birth to a boy Steven. In 2010 was Mia born. Nowadays Maya writes cookbooks and she is waiting to be a mom for the third time.
