Ingredients

30 ml oil

200 g rice, steamed

100 g boneless chicken, sliced

5 g garlic, sliced

10 g red chillies, sliced lengthwise

5 g fresh basil leaves

5 ml soya sauce

1 tsp sugar

salt to taste

10 ml chicken stock 3 ml fish sauce
Instructions

Heat the oil in a pan, and add the garlic and chillies. Saute for a few minutes, them add the chicken, soya sauce, sugar, salt, chicken stock and fish sauce.

Allow to cook for six to seven minutes, stirring frequently. Add the rice and continue to cook for another five minutes, till most of the moisture has been absorbed.

Just before serving, stir in the basil. Serve hot.
