Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar did a candid interview with Nicole Khalil world-leading media personality, fitness & fashion model and Instagram Influencer where she talks about her workout, diet and beauty secrets.
Namita Nayyar:
You first posted on the Instagram account in December of 2013. Later you started doing fitness modeling. Your success on Instagram propelled your fitness modeling career to the height where you have been at the top of the world of fitness, fashion, and glamour modeling. Tell us more about this fairy tale journey?
Nicole Khalil:
It’s funny to think that this all started because I discovered an app to filter my photos. I never intended on my Instagram getting to where it is today and it’s amazing how many opportunities I have been given because of it. In the beginning it was a very bumpy ride as there were hardly any other people doing it. The term “influencer” didn’t even exist so it was very confusing for people to understand what exactly I was doing. It definitely has its perks but that also comes with judgemental people but I’m so thankful it has opened many wonderful doors for me.
I’m very lucky to have a supportive family and group of friends around me and it still blows my mind how I have built such an awesome family of followers who genuinely love me sharing my story.
Namita Nayyar:
You are a world-leading media personality, model, Instagram Influencer qualified to make-up artist, the certified technical operator for live products, theatres, & events, has a certification in the fashion business, and a brand ambassador. How do you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?
Nicole Khalil:
Time management for me is everything!
I would always be so overwhelmed when I would work because I would try to finish everything at once. I would jump from one task to the other and then back again and I was just a total mess. I’d put so much unnecessary stress on myself when in reality, all I needed to do was allocate time for each task and put realistic expectations on how much work I could get done.
I have 3 whiteboards that sit around my office and I use them religiously! I’ve learnt that I’m someone who needs to write things down and am constantly typing in information or tasks that need to be done into my notes on my phone. I definitely find that this keeps me organised and on-top of everything that I need to get done.
Namita Nayyar:
What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you may wish to share?
Nicole Khalil:
I generally like to focus on working a particular body part per gym session.
If I have a day of working out my lower body then I’ll switch it up and focus on upper body the next day. Some of my favourite workouts are deadlifts, banded exercises using the Boss Fitness bands and crunches!
