Shakira looks a stunner in sequined blue dress
– Reported – May, 20 2014
Shakira wore skin tight sequined blue dress and looked a stunner.
She famously sang that Hips Don’t Lie. So there can be little doubt Shakira was having a good time as she delivered a raunchy performance at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday. The Latina lovely gave viewers something to remember her by after donning a skimpy dress before singing Empire at the popular music show.
it was a night her Barcelona star beau Gerard Pique will not forget either, after she lustily leapt into his arms and delivered a lingering kiss as she celebrated her well received turn.
And she was clearly in near peak form as she pulled of a series of raunchy dance moves, and was clearly relishing the big stage. Shaira gave it her all as she grooved and grinded her way through her performance, at one point thrusting her microphone high in the air. The 37-year-old showed off a figure that would make many half her age jealous in a
golden sequined number, fishnet tights and racy thigh high stacked heeled boots.
Ironically, the saucy singer gave the performance a definitive exclamation point when she came off stage. She could not help but lunge at Spain star beau Gerard Pique, wrapping her legs around his waist as she kissed him with wild abandon. And while the 27-year-old was doubtlessly enjoying himself, he would be forgiven for being slightly worried she could do him an injury before his team’s crunch World Cup defence campaign, which kicks off in Brazil next month.

Her success was solidified with her sixth and seventh albums Fijación Oral, Vol. 1 and Oral Fixation, Vol. 2, the latter of which spawned the best-selling song of the 21st century, “Hips Don’t Lie”. Shakira’s eighth and ninth albums, She Wolf and Sale el Sol, received critical praise but suffered from limited promotion due to her strained relationship with label Epic Records.

With over 550 million views, its music video is the eighth most-watched video on YouTube. Shakira became the 2010 celebrity spokesperson for the Freixenet traditional Christmas TV commercial. Each year, this Cava company taps into a world-famous celebrity to be the face of its much-awaited holiday TV spot. For her latest venture, Shakira dressed up as a golden sparkling wine bubble, “This year, let’s toast so that the sun shines more than ever. The best is yet to come. Merry Christmas.
The gown featured strategic cut-outs of a black, spidery web design that showed off her bare skin around the cleavage, arms, waist and down the side of her thighs.
With her shapely figure, Shakira had every reason to show it off. Adding an air of wildness was Shakira’s mane of blonde hair that cascaded down her back and across her shoulders in waves.
Shakira’s make-up was natural in tones of beige and brown as she posed on the red carpet with hands on hips. That night Shakira was excited to perform Medicine with her fellow coach on The Voice and ACM nominee, Blake Shelton. The two joined forces to record the duet for her latest self-titled studio album.
However it will have certainly have helped cheer him up after his Barcelona side were deposed as the champions of Spain by Athletico Madrid on Saturday. While Shakira delivered what was arguably the turn of the night, the lascivious lovely certainly had plenty of rivals. Aussie rockers 5 Seconds of Summer, who were cringeworthily introduced by Kendall Jenner, Katy Perry, Lorde and Robin Thicke were among the other performers.
