Jessica Simpson shed 60 pounds: Us Weekly

– Reported, November 01, 2012

Surrendering her “slutty brownies” and buttered Pop-Tarts, Jessica Simpson shed 60 pounds in five months, revealed Us Weekly on Oct. 26 2012. Get the secret to her slim-down success, including how she acquired that 70-pound baby bump during her pregnancy.

When Jessica was pregnant, she enjoyed “a lot of stuff that I ate in my childhood,” she told ABC News in May. Among those foods: Pop-Tarts slathered with butter and her own recipe for “slutty brownies,” featuring three layers of cookie dough, Oreo cookies and brownie mix. So how did she shed the weight? Jessica combined the Weight Watchers Points Plus program with exercising four times a week with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, according to Us Weekly. And in contrast to Jessica’s brownie binges, she turned to exercise to work off her emotions about her parents’ divorce announcement, reported Gossip Girls on Oct. 27. Jessica is sticking with her workout routine and “going on with everything. She’s sad, but she’s okay,” said a source, reported Entertainment Wise on Oct. 27. Jessica is so determined to shed the last 10 pounds that “no matter how tired is, she goes to the gym. She keeps her workouts the same,” added the source.

Jessica also is sticking with her Weight Watchers diet. And she has just a tad more incentive than the average dieter. Jessica reportedly is earning four million dollars as the program’s celebrity spokeswoman, according to Us Weekly. Although she declined to admit the amount, Jessica tweeted her confirmation of the arrangement in May: “So excited to be part of the Weight Watchers family.”
