Ms. Namita Nayyar:
To begin with congratulations for the debut book “Treasure Yourself” launched last year. We would like you to elaborate on the idea behind the book and why is it special for Miranda?
Ms. Miranda Kerr:
Treasure Yourself was born out of the many questions young women had asked me via Facebook, letters and emails. It is an honest account of how I approach life, and personal experiences that have played an important part in the person I am today. Treasure Yourself has enabled me to reach out to many young women and hopefully influence them in a positive way.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
It has been brought to my notice that Miranda has added her own personal touch by applying a positive word to the back of each of KORA Organics products. Words such as; kindness, presence, honour and laughter have been used with the intent that the vibrational energy associated with these words flows through the product and onto the user. I would like her to add some light on the reason behind the same.
Ms. Miranda Kerr:
In my own life I believe in and use positive affirmations, and as such I wanted to give each of the KORA Organics products a personal touch.
Dr Masaru Emoto’s studies on water crystals reveal how the molecular structure of water can be dramatically impacted by thoughts, intentions, words, ideas and even music. Dr Emoto discovered that we can create profound healing or have an equally destructive affect on our own body just in the way we think.
I believe in Dr Emoto’s work and the intention was that the positive words on each of the KORA Organics products would create a positive affect for the user.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
What lifestyle routine in terms of diet & exercise does Miranda follow to stay healthy and fit? What kind of diet regime she follows to stay free from stress and pressure of work?
Ms. Miranda Kerr:
Yoga is at the core of my health and fitness regime, I enjoy practicing regularly and have done so for over ten years now. I also love to do pilates. Low impact activities that focus on the connection between mind and body work best for me. It is important that every woman listens to what works best for their own body.
For my diet day to day I adopt the 80/20 rule. 80% healthy and organic, 20% indulgent and that works for me and my body personally. I indulge occasionally and avoid counting calories.
Ideally, I like to start my day with a fresh pressed green juice with kale, cucumber, spinach, parsley and lemon. Half an hour later I like to make a smoothie with sun warrior protein powder, goggi berries, noni juice, viatmineral greens, chia seeds, bee pollen, raw cacao powder, macca powder and acai powder. I will then have organic eggs or oatmeal for breakfast. That works for me and is a great way to get my body started for the day. I believe breakfast is one of the most important meals in the day.
