Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar catches up with Mckenzie Westmore: Actress, Singer and Entrepreneur, here she talks about her workout, diet, beauty secrets and success story.
Namita Nayyar:
You were born in San Fernando, California, US. You were discovered at the age of 3 when you played Robert De Niro’s daughter in the Oscar-winning moving Raging Bull (1980). As a child you entered into acting, singing classes, and theater classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and the Uta Hagen Master Class. This propelled your acting career to the height where you have been at the top of the world as an actress on having played the role of Sheridan Crane Lopez-Fitzgerald on the television soap opera Passions from 1999 to 2008. Tell us more about this fairy tale journey?
Mckenzie Westmore:
It’s hard to call it a fairytale. On paper yes but like anything it was many years of rejection, hard work and persistence. I’m grateful for the journey 🙂
Namita Nayyar:
You are the granddaughter of makeup artist Monte Westmore, daughter of makeup artist Michael Westmore. The ‘Westmore’ name today is known world-wide for makeup & beauty. You continue with pushing this family tradition when it comes to health, beauty, hair & makeup tips. Tells us five things that are must find in your makeup box? Give one makeup secret tip for women going out for a casual outing and in a formal party?
Mckenzie Westmore:
My must haves are Westmore Beauty CC cream, shadow edit, body coverage perfector, bold and beautiful mascara, and 24k gold lipstick in mauve.
Add the liquid eyeliner and this is the perfect simple but fast evening look!
