Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Ms. Marion Crampe:
I use to say I don’t have a special diet. I eat according my lifestyle. We are all so unique regarding diet and needs. After a long (not always easy) process to understand myself, I think I found the diet that fits me and permits me to feel good, fit and happy. I am pescatarian, I never go for process food and soda. I eat a lot of fruits, nuts and veggies (trying as much as possible to go for organic). I just have a huge addiction for italian capuccino. I just recommend people to their listen their body.

Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding pole dancing girls who all are your fans, they shall like to know from you, what they should do for their climb to ladder of success in field of pole dancing?
Ms. Marion Crampe:
I do believe that the best way is to really follow your soul and your mind. Always believe that if you want it, you can have it. Work hard and healthy. As for many others, Poledance has changed my life. I feel more secure, strong, loving every day more and more, my body and myself… It makes me happy. I guess being happy is a true treasure of life.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
How did you feel before and after securing the third place in the women’s category “ultimate champion” IPC (International Pole Championship)?
Ms. Marion Crampe:
IPC was an important part of my competitive journey on different levels. It is one of the most famous competitions around 100 women in the semi finals, and just 8 went through the finale. It was already incredible for me just to get into it. It will maybe be my last professional pole competition. This year was even more important because I won the “Pole Idol 2013” title related to the nominations done during the time of the competition.
I practice and train for this piece for 5 months. With my choreographer and friend Kyra Johannessen, I worked to create a unique piece out of my comfort zone and at the same time something connected to who I am and me as an artist.
The piece name is “ Guiding the Vessel”. Here the story line:
A vessel is a powerful, complex and resistant engine.
Mentally and physically, a human-being is similar.
”Guiding the vessel” represents my artistic path.
The pursuit of the consciousness, strength and maturity to bring the body above and beyond its limits.
Just like a race where you are the only one on the track.
I want to share the journey that brought me to this moment.
It is about the obsession of perfection, the dedication, the fear to turn into the light and reach my artistic identity.
I take a deep breathe with my eyes closed. I feel on my skin the loss of balance. I live fully this moment and I finally take the last impulse to reach serenity.
Avec Passion
I went to Singapore quiet and strong as I worked to the fullest on it, ready for enjoying the stage, no matter the result. I love competition most of all for the fact that I can meet and be around pole friends who are competing as well. As the line up was made with some of the best pole dancers in the world, I really didn’t expect to place.
As Pole dance is still in the process of being recognized, I have to admit being the winner or not doesn’t really change anything. Just the fact to be there and perform surrounded all those amazing artists (women and men) is already THE thing. For sure, I am so happy about the result but what it is more satisfying is to meet more people from this amazing community, and take part of its history.
