Later you amassed a number of television and theater credits, also while in Los Angeles you had the opportunity to work in plays with Oscar Winning director Milton Justice in ‘Waiting For Lefty’ this propelled your professional career to the height where you have been at the top of the world of acting. Tell us about your journey that took you to where you are now in the world of acting?
Ms. Mariana Flores: Well it is a time where I have to be knocking at doors and look for opportunities, and if one door wasn’t helpful at all continue with the next one, but always be in constant movement, making myself a way and getting more involved in the industry.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have selected a profession of being an actress that requires a lot of hard labor, technical soundness and excellence in different faculties to finally succeed, how do you achieve that?
Ms. Mariana Flores: I’d say to be disciplined with myself, this is one of the first things that one most do especially because there are many roles that will required to shift parts of me, like my body for example, gain or lose weight, and for that I will have to have a strict discipline to follow the diet that I’ve been given and not fall for the first hamburger place that I bump into.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you shall like to share?
Ms. Mariana Flores: Well I love hiking, and LA has the most beautiful sunsets I’ve seen, and I was born and raised in a place where the sunsets are amazing, but the fact of working out having such an amazing view and be in contact with nature as well just makes it perfect. I also swim which I really enjoy a lot too.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Ms. Mariana Flores: I actually hate diets, I think it’s a way to torture your body and mind, I just call it “eat healthy” and work out your mind and body. I do not eat meet, but I eat a lot of grain and vegetables. I’m a fan of salads. I consider myself a person who eats pretty well and once in a while I treat myself with some ice cream.
