Lindsay McCormick is an exceptionally talented TV Personality and Sports Broadcaster. She is in conversation with Namita Nayyar, President – Women Fitness.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have selected the profession of sports journalism- one that requires a lot of hard labor, technical understanding of different sports and various abilities in different faculties to succeed, how do you achieve that?
Ms. Lindsay McCormick: Honestly, my entire life has set me up for this profession. From being born into a hardcore sports family with a background in football and NASCAR, to my dad taking us to every Astros game imaginable as a kid on top of attending every single one of my brother’s baseball and basketball games. Sports became a part of who I am and easy to submerge myself in because it’s what I was always accustomed to. I can’t lie, at times it is extremely difficult to keep up with every detail and current event for every single sport. But for the most part, I try to have a general idea of what’s currently happening with each sport and then just hone in on the details before a broadcast.
