Ms. Namita Nayyar: Tell us your experience when you drove your pristine cherry red 1973 Corvette Stingray named ‘Vanessa Darling’ in the 82nd Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade this year ?
Ms. Izzie Merey: It was such a blast and very surreal driving Vanessa down the red carpet on Hollywood Boulevard. It was true Hollywood glam at its best and I got to drive with two of the cast members from the Disney Channel Show, Austin & Ally. What a proud moment being able to show off your car live on TV and in front of thousands of screaming fans!
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You are a certified defensive driver. What role and expertise does this knowledge bestow on you and how you use this to empower and teach others about driving and automobile technicalities?
Ms. Izzie Merey: The interesting thing about driving defensively is that you get to understand and honor the rules of the road, which most drivers ignore. Therefore, you are always a few steps ahead of other drivers and can avoid accidents
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have been associated with specially OXFAM and UNICEF and a number of charities, which are all dear to your heart, tell us how you have been able to achieve and quench your thirst of giving back to the society through this endeavor of your?
Ms. Izzie Merey: Causes that I am involved with right now are natural disasters, the child sex trade and Sudan. So what happens is I keep a close watch on specific charities to see who is doing what to help. A lot of charities have yet to distribute the funds they raised to those who were promised aid and this is nothing new. So I do my research and ask a lot of questions then I set out to spread the word via my social media. By encouraging my fans and followers to donate money, my thirst of helping people around the world is partially quenched. The rest I do personally as true charity comes from the heart and does not need to be announced to anyone but yourself.
