Ms. Namita Nayyar: Introduce us to a day in the life of “Huda Naccache”?
Ms. Huda Naccache: Usually I wake up early in the morning, I pray, then start my workout. When I’m done, I eat breakfast, go to work. It changes between fittings, photo shoots, fashion shows and studying texts for acting auditions. I try my best to have my lunch in between with a friend. At evening I like to go back home. Watch a movie or just have a nice conversations with my family / boyfriend. And eat dinner with them.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You were one of the contestants on the seventh season of the Israeli reality program Survivor. How was your experience on the show?
Ms. Huda Naccache: My experience at Survivor was really tough and interesting at the same time. The shooting was in Honduras. This adventure brought me closer to God and myself as a human being in this world. I felt hungry, tired, and cold the whole time. I missed my family so much, words can’t even explain. I had to be mentally strong in so many difficult situations at this crazy game. And I’m so proud of myself that I made it to the top 7. (The show started with 18 contestants. with 4 finalists) I’m grateful to God that I went through this adventure and learned to appreciate the very little things in our lives that a lot of times we take for granted. But I suffered so much from mosquitoes bites!! (I still have few scars on my legs).
Ms. Namita Nayyar: What exercises compromise your fitness regime or workout routine?
Ms. Huda Naccache: I do HIIT, TRX, cardio and strength training. HIIT + TRX twice a week. Strength training twice a week. And cardio 2-3 times a week.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Ms. Huda Naccache: I just eat healthy and drink two liters of water a day. No white carbs! No sodas! 3 meals a day, fruits 2-3 times a day. And a lot of vegetables. For example, it’s very important to eat a meal rich in protein after working out. I don’t drink coffee. I drink green tea without sugar. I have cheat meals once/twice a week. Balance you know… It’s very important to listen to your body and if you feel like you want that piece of cake once in a while, so you can have it. And your body will cooperate with you much better.
