Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding figure skaters who all are your fans, they shall like to know from you, what they should do for their climb to ladder of success in this field?
Ms. Gracie Gold:
I think when skaters are really young it’s a great time to fall in love with skating. I think it’s important to skate as often as possible and try as many things as they can. They shouldn’t get hung up on how fast they are getting their triples or anything that stressful. It’s an opportunity to find what their passion in skating and to cultivate it. There are so many factions of figure skating, and the Olympic Games highlights just a small one. It’s an incredible sport and just because someone’s path doesn’t lead towards the Olympics, doesn’t mean that they should hang up their skates. It might simply mean that their skating dream is in a different, but equally amazing, direction.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
How did you feel before and after winning a bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi?
Ms. Gracie Gold:
It was simply the most incredible experience of my life.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Ms. Gracie Gold:
I try to take inspiration and motivation from many different people in skating. I think each Olympic champion and World champion has different strengths and weaknesses. I can learn something different from each of them.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
When not doing figure skating, what other sports or hobbies do you have that you relish?
Ms. Gracie Gold:
When I’m not skating, I love staying active and doing fun things. I’ve recently moved to Detroit, so on the weekends I love hanging out with my friends and exploring my new city 🙂 I also love shopping, working out, reading, and watching Netflix.
