Ms. Namita Nayyar:
You have also been a former Playboy Bunny. Tell us what motivated you towards entering the modelling and entertainment industry?
Ms. Farah Sattaur:
I remember when I was around 10 always strutting up and down the corridor at my family home at that time haha posing to the mirror at the end and never getting bored. There’s a certain attitude you have to embody on the catwalk and I love that feeling, it’s extremely empowering and it was the same feeling representing the Playboy brand. Again a lot more stereotypes with this one, I had so many people assuming it was a strip club or you had to have huge boobs to get the job when in fact it was the complete opposite.
There were around 30 girls in my audition and having three stages to go through, only 3 were successful including myself. The main reason I took the job was because I knew I would earn great money and I wanted to save for a mortgage and with the job I had at the time, it just wasn’t realistic. I started as a waitress and after 3 months I was promoted to a VIP host. Modelling whilst earning great money, c’mon that’s not rocket science! I loved my experience as a bunny, the events and lucky enough to say I’ve met some life long friends.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Farah, you are one of the most popular cast members on Ex on the Beach. Share with us your experience doing the show?
Ms. Farah Sattaur:
After being scouted I was very reluctant to attend an audition and was rejecting emails and calls for a couple of weeks but then I thought to just go and feel it out. After a week I got a call that MTV producers loved me and wanted to meet with me, and later that same day I found out that I was casted as an original member. I was so happy and excited, although nervous more than anything because I only had a few days to prep before they flew me out. It was definitely a roller coaster of an experience, very incestuous and thank god myself and four others didn’t have any ex’s arrive, however you still live through everyone else’s drama. The main question I get asked about the show is “was it scripted” and I can put my hand on my heart and honestly say it wasn’t. There were moments that were more emotionally challenging but I also learned so much about myself and when we had a good time, it really was the best.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
As a reality TV star and Vlogger, provide us a glimpse into a day in your remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle.
Ms. Farah Sattaur:
Haha well if it’s a day of me trying to multitask, my day will consist of posting on my social media. Staying active and engaging with my followers is crucial but this is something I do struggle with, as I am an avid live in the moment kinda girl. I would then brainstorm more content and collaborating with brands definitely helps with this. In between there is usually a couple of meetings, emails to stay on top of and then getting glammed up for an event in the eve.
