Ms. Namita Nayyar: Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Ms. Esther Anderson: I’v always been a healthy eater, 90% of the time and I think that’s the key. When you eat healthy food more often than not, then that’s what you enjoy and your body craves. I feel good and I have energy after eating well so that’s why I generally eat that way. I’ll make sure my breakfast includes plenty of fibre with some protein added, and I love eating a nice big salad for lunch with plenty of fresh ingredients and either chicken, or fish or tofu. I try to make sure I add some protein to every meal. Although it seems to be hot weather all year round in LA I still like a hot meal for dinner. I make healthy mexican dishes with extra vegetables and thai curries and asian style stir fry’s. I am addicted to quinoa at the moment.
I’m substituting it for rice in a lot of my dishes and it’s also great in salads. It’s high in protein and a really yummy grain. I have a super green formula in the morning to supplement my diet if im busy and feel like I’m not getting enough vegetables or if I’m feeling a bit run down. I won’t lie, I do love some dark chocolate and a glass of wine most nights and the occasional burger on a weekend but I never feel guilty indulging every now and then because it’s balanced out with all the healthy food I nourish my body with the other 90% of the time.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have glowing skin and gorgeous hairs. Do you take some kind of skin treatment to keep it young and glowing and secondly what you do to your hairs to make them look so stunning?
Ms. Esther Anderson: My skin regime has always been pretty simple, just cleansing and moisturizing and I’ll exfoliate once a week. In the last year however I felt I needed something extra as my skin was looking a bit tired and I want to keep it glowing for as long as possible. I now have started using a serum morning and night before I apply my moisturiser and I have also started using rosehip oil. I add a tiny bit of Rosehip oil to my moisturiser and also dab a bit to the area around my eyes to help avoid wrinkles. to keep my hair from splitting and to protect it from heat and styling my favourite product is Argan Oil. Its moisturising but doesn’t leave it too heavy like some oils.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Advice and motivational words for our inspiring and budding models and actresses who all are your fans, what should they do for their climb to the ladder of success in field of acting and modelling?
Ms. Esther Anderson: I think the best advice I got was given to me indirectly from a numerology type thing my auntie did for me one day when I was about 12 or 13. After some calculations you were left with a few different numbers that meant different things, and one of them was my “life challenge” number. I remember I got 0 for it and I remember being quite worried this meant I wouldn’t amount to do anything in my life.
My aunty then told me it was actually the opposite, she told me it meant I could do anything I wanted to do if I put my mind to it. And so I really believed that to be true. I stuck the piece of paper up on my wall as a reminder that I could do anything I wanted to do if I really put my mind to it. I still think that is the most important thing, to believe in yourself and to back that up by working hard toward your dreams. Anything is possible but you have to believe it.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have acted in number of films, television series and shows. Which has been your most memorable experience?
Ms. Esther Anderson: I look at every opportunity that I’v been given as a real honour, as well as being a chance to do something new and exciting, but I’d have to say my experiences on the television series “Home and Away” and “Siberia” have been the most rewarding so far. Being a series regular on a show allows you the luxury of time for your character to develop and evolve, which allows you to really immerse yourself in it. I love the close relationships you build with the other actors and the potential for storylines to go in so many directions.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Who has been your inspiration and motivation that led you to your success in the world of acting and modeling?
Ms. Esther Anderson: I’d have to say my parents have been my biggest motivation. I’v always wanted them feel proud of me. As much as I get embarrassed when they show friends (or strangers) an article on me or a photo from the paper, at the end of the day I’m just so grateful they are happy and proud and I have people in my life that care about me so much. I also can’t help but be inspired by the likes of Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts, Rose Byrne and Cate Blanchett to name a few, who have paved the way for other aspiring Australian actresses on international scale.
