Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Your modeling career must have started at a young age and latter propelled to the height where you have been at the top of the world and reached the pinnacle of success by being the winner of Maxim Magazine 2013 Hometown Hottie! Tell us something about this fairy tale journey?
Ms. Dessie Mitcheson:
I actually started modeling when I was 20 years old. I was on vacation with my family, and we heard about a local swimsuit competition they were holding in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Right away my mom wanted me to enter, I was very hesitant, but decided to do it! I ended up winning the competition! From then on, I continued entering competitions and signed with a local modeling agency. It goes to show you never know what adventures life may bring, and it is always good to try new things even when you are unsure!
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
You have selected a profession of glamour modeling that requires a lot of hard labor, technical soundness and excellence in different faculties to finally succeed, how do you achieve that?
Ms. Dessie Mitcheson:
I am a very hard worker. When I’m not working I’m thinking about what I can do next. It’s also important to surround yourself with people in the industry that know what they are doing and can help benefit your career.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you shall like to share?
Ms. Dessie Mitcheson:
I have always been an active person. I recently started doing yoga. I was a competitive gymnast half of my life so the transition was very easy.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Ms. Dessie Mitcheson:
I don’t have a special diet, but I do eat healthy the majority of the week. I believe you have to cheat too, if your body is telling you to eat a chocolate chip cookie have one, not three! It’s all about portion control.
