SI Swimsuit 2018 cover model Danielle Herrington made her debut just a year earlier. Born in Compton, CA, Danielle now calls New York City home. Though she knew she wanted to be a model from the age of eight, she only started pursuing her career seriously in 2015. In her spare time, she likes to work out and play with her dog Bailey, Shih-Tzu mix.

You were just named the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model for 2018. The announcement was made via a surprise reveal by none other than, Tyra Banks. Express your feelings about this superbly fabulous news?
Ms. Danielle Herrington:
It was a dream within a dream! To not only land the cover of the magazine but to also have one of my biggest inspirations tell me the amazing news, it was more than I could emotionally handle hence the flood of tears!!!
