An all-American beauty with a wide smile, Dana Taylor has walked the catwalk for designers like Monique Lhuillier, Adam Selman and Dior Cruise. In July 2017, she landed on the cover of Playboy magazine in what was dubbed “The Adventure Issue.” She grew up in the Chicago suburb Downers Grove. She aspired to become a model at an early age, staging fictional runway events in her driveway.

As mentioned by you “When I was first asked, ‘Are you calling the right number?’ was your first reaction when you discovered that you have been chosen as a Playmate? Why did it look unbelievable?
Dana Taylor
I had always seen myself as a fashion runway girl. I never thought my career would transition into the sexy swim commercial girl. Then it slowly hit me, I was. When I was younger, I was always envious of playmates or the girl next door. I thought to myself that they have confidence and poise through the roof. They also had a strong image of what they wanted to project as a woman. So, realizing that I was about to become a playmate, was surreal. I had to step back, take a deep breath, and try to digest that this was happening. I was overwhelmed and excited! It did not seem real until the magazine came out and I saw myself on the cover.

The best part about being in the modeling industry?
Dana Taylor
My favourite part is getting to travel to exotic places around the world. I never imagined I would see such amazing sights, meet so many wonderful people, and experience so much of our world’s history and cultures.
