You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Share with us your hair care and skincare routine.
Annebeth Kubbe:
My hair routine, I oil it every day and make sure i braid it for practice, so it doesn’t get stuck or pulled out. I have a hard time with my skincare routine, because of the horses, dust and sweat my skin is not as smooth as I wish for. I am pretty insecure about my skin, but I try to clean it before and after practice and every month get professional skin care to help me with it.

Building trust forms the core of vaulting athlete relationships with horses. Adapting to different horses for international competitions requires building trust swiftly. What is your unique strategy to build the near perfect connection with equine partners, Elaborate?
Annebeth Kubbe:
Since I vault with Evermore my way of looking at vaulting changed a lot. I know it’s a normal in the vaulting sports to share horses; this makes the vaulting sport very special and beautiful. But at the same time for me vaulting changed a lot since I was able to connect so deep with my horse and know each other so well that we didn’t not have to communicate by words or body language anymore; because of this I was able to vault fully in the flow.

Tell us about a day in the life of ‘Annebeth Kubbe’.
Annebeth Kubbe:
When I was an Athlete: training, school, training, sleep. Since August 2024 I changed my career to become a vaulting coach. I am coaching for the club HP in Belgium and in Holland I coach Sam Dos Santos (twice world champion). So now my day looks like: training the horses, going to the gym, work as a physiotherapist and after coaching my athletes.
