Anna-Maria Sieklucka is a Polish actress, singer, and dancer who made her feature film debut in the multi-lingual Netflix drama 365 Days, based on the novel trilogy written by Blanka Lipinska. According to Newsweek it was the most-watched Netflix film in 2020. The plot follows a spirited young woman, “Laura (played by Sieklucka),” who is kidnapped by a Sicilian mobster that imposes a period of 365 days for her to fall in love with him. The film also stars Michele Morrone and was directed by Barbara Dialowas and Tomasz Mandes.
Sieklucka was born in Lublin, the largest city in eastern Poland. She studied at the Wrocław-based Faculty of Puppetry of AST National Academy of Theatre Arts and graduated in 2018. She is able to speak fluent Polish, English, French and German. In October 2019, she appeared in one episode of the Polish television series Na dobre i na złe, focused around the life of paramedics and hospital staff.
Sieklucka has an extensive background in theatre. Upcoming, she will play the role of “Death” in Margules. Ausencia, a biographical play about Ludwik Margules, a renowned Polish-born Mexican theatre, opera and film director. Lukasz Witt- Michatowski is directing and the play will have its premiere this Fall in Lublin at the Cultural Center.
Previously, Sieklucka also toured in Salzburg at the Sommerszene Festival and in Madrid at the Teatros Canal in Marta Gornicka/The Chorus of Women: Magnificent. Last year, she was asked with only two days’ notice to step in as a lead role in the play Valentine’s Day, at the Norwid Theatre in Jelenia Góra. Her performance was simply flawless and garnered a standing ovation.
Anna-Maria Sieklucka has also acted in 365 Days: This Day directed by Barbara Białowąs and Tomasz Mandes. Serving as a sequel to 365 Days, it is based on This Day, the second novel of a trilogy by Blanka Lipińska and stars Anna-Maria Sieklucka, Michele Morrone, and Magdalena Lamparska. The film was released worldwide on Netflix on April 27, 2022. A sequel, The Next 365 Days, is scheduled to release on August 19, 2022.

You were born in Lublin Poland. You studied at the Wrocław-based Faculty of Puppetry of AST National Academy of Theatre Arts and graduated in 2018. You later started working as an actress and in October 2019
, appeared in one episode of the Polish television series Na dobre i na złe. You made your film debut playing Laura Biel, in the film 365 Days (2020) and the sequel. This propelled your acting career to the height where you have been at the top of the world as an actress. Tell us more about your journey of hard work, tenacity, and endurance?Anna-Maria Sieklucka
I’m so excited that the 3rd part of 365 movie is coming on 19th of August and finally viewers will see Laura as a 100% mature woman.
I also worked in theater that time with “Gardzienice” Centre for Theatre Practices, I was so in love with antiquity. Chorus of Women by Marta Górnicka and played in 4 plays, one of them was- „Valentine’s Day” at Norwid Theater in Jelenia Góra – the most challenging experience in my life. I remembered when the director Łukasz Witt-Michałowski called me and said – Ama, one of my actress broke her leg. I have premiere in 2 Days; I need u to do the replacement. I asked- what type of role is that. He said- main! In that moment my heart stopped, I got shocked and answered – u are insane, this is impossible! That experience taught me that nothing is impossible coz I did it. (Laugh)
