Anais Zanotti is an exceptionally talented and accomplished supermodel, professional sky diver and an actress. She has been winner of the Bikini Models search calendar contest 2012 and also being voted “Top Sexiest Model 2012”. She is in conversation with Namita Nayyar President Women Fitness.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
You were born at Saint-Tropez, France and started modeling at the age of 16 years when a photographer for a local magazine spotted you and asked for a shoot. Later you went to Paris and Italy on modeling assignments. You career excelled as you moved to US nine years ago. This propelled your modeling career to the height where you have been at the top of the world of fashion and glamour modeling and have also been featured as the leading model for Playboy and various other magazines. Tell us something about this fairy tale journey?
Ms. Anais Zanotti:
It has been one of my biggest dreams to live in Miami ever since I was a little girl. So when I started modeling I always had Miami as a goal. But before that I had to achieve smaller goals. Like moving from St Tropez to Monaco to be closer to Italy. I really enjoyed living there. I have always loved to challenge myself, nothing is impossible, if you believe in it and this is what I did. Everything I did with my career was in a progressive way.
Always dream big and believe in your dreams. So many people told me that it was crazy for me to move to the U.S. without speaking English, well I did not let that bother me. I actually believed in myself and knew that I would be able to learn the language if I hung around with American friends. And this is what I did. It took me a few months to be fluent. So the language barrier should not be an excuse.
When I left I was alone, I did not know anyone and that was the best, to be put on the spot, you have no choice except to meet people and learn. I used that strategy for modeling too, I wanted big things for myself and I aimed for the stars.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
You moved from France to United States and other European countries for your professional career. For a model adjusting to new countries with their own cultures it must be difficult and then to adjust with modeling career in the new foreign land, what advice can you give to fellow models in a similar situation?
Ms. Anais Zanotti:
Lot’s of people would have a tendency to find other people from their country once they moved. My advice is to make friends with people from where you are, learning their culture. When I moved to the U.S. I was lucky to meet so many amazing people who have helped me. It’s a great adventure and experience to live in a different Country away from your comfort zone.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
You are a world leading media personality, supermodel, actress, skydiver, stunt women, martial artist, kick boxer and a brand ambassador. How you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?
Ms. Anais Zanotti:
I have always loved extreme sports, as a kid I was into Martial Arts, I used to have a motorcycle when I was in France, and when I moved to the U.S. I started Skydiving. Being a Skydiver and being into all those extreme sports separates me from other models. Being able to do what I love for a living is truly amazing.
