“I’m proud of my body and I work hard to stay in shape” What does your favourite workout routine look like? “I’ve been blessed with full lips and I want to do them justice so I do a work out every day.” Exercise you do to maintain that pout.
ANA ESPINOLA:
My favorite training routine is for the ‘booty’ and every morning I start with a good stretch. Next is cardio for 25 minutes, high intensity and I continue with squats. I continue with walking lunges, about 3 laps, and then deadlift. I repeat this series 4 times. This helps me maintain a healthy physical appearance.
Namita Nayyar:
Being a 5X Bikini Champion, how did you achieve this fitness level that you have today? Advice for upcoming models to remember and stick by always?
ANA ESPINOLA:
The truth is I was overweight. And I started training for health issues, I realized that if I continued to do nothing, not only was it going to cause me physical exhaustion, but a sedentary lifestyle could affect my health too. I started with 2 hours of cardio a day, then weights. And now fitness has become a part of my life.

Before starting strength training, what are the key points to keep in mind?
ANA ESPINOLA:
Always do stretching as it can prevent significant injuries. The technique, no matter the amount of weight, but the proper technique is important. I often see people wanting to skip phases putting excess weight. It is preferable to have a slow but safe progress, to hurry and not see results. Nutrition is key, if we are in the process where the body needs large loads of energy, if you do not give and follow a strict diet where you are going hungry, it is not right. One must not train to “be able to eat”, one must eat to be able to lift.
