Ms. Namita Nayyar: Your passion for ballet, jazz ballet and singing was created at 4 years of age. You have been involved with real estate at a very early age, being raised around property development and property investing. You decided to pursue one of your passions to work in the media and worked in front and behind the camera for a number of years, featuring on channel nine, channel ten and in numerous TV commercials, short films, and hosting the Humphrey Bear show. You were featured in popular TV Series, The Bachelor Australia. This propelled your career in acting and in reality TV to the height where you have been at the top of the world in television and modeling. Tell us something about this fairy tale journey?
Ms. Ali Oetjen: Yes this is all correct, my love for being active started with little athletics and ballet from this early age, I was always out riding my bike, going to the beach, climbing trees, exploring in the country, ever since I could walk. I’ve been brought up having a active and outgoing lifestyle and couldn’t imagine it any different. My love for competing in athletics, beach volleyball and ballet flourished and I became better and it was an addiction. Like going to the gym is for me, seeing results, being around active, positive minded people similar is an environment I love to be in. Those endorphins make me feel fabulous! When I’m at my fittest, strongest and healthiest I feel happiest and that’s what it comes down to being the HAPPIEST me possible.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You are leading media personality, model, actress, reality TV star, Style Icon, a brand ambassador and a real estate expert. How you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?
Ms. Ali Oetjen: Haha, wow, really, I’m I all of that?! I make it all fit into my life, it’s all about balancing my life and also making it fit and being prepared. Preparation in my food is important, I make sure I bring snacks and lunch, smoothie with me everyday to work so I don’t have to buy ‘quick n easy’ takeaway food which normally isn’t healthy for you. I will always have in my handbag wherever I go – raw mixed nuts and seeds(1 handful no more) and an apple. If I know I have client meetings/shoots etc after work and can’t fit my workout in then, I’ll go for a 40 min run in my lunch. I do naturally have a lot of energy so this helps me get through the day with a huge smile. I make sure I get 8 hrs of sleep every night and have enough water.
