Ms. Namita Nayyar: Introduce us to AlexandraCoaching.com, where you inspire and coach people to improve their lives in a healthier way?
Ms. Alexandra Paul: As a health coach, I help people establish healthy routines and behaviors into their lives. So many people want to eat healthily, exercise more, sleep better, have more energy, feel less stress and lose weight – but they are so busy, so surrounded by tempting, unhealthy food and entrenched in a sedentary lifestyle, it can seem impossible to change. But it isn’t. Change is possible, and as a coach I help you make the changes you have always wanted to make but haven’t been able to do on your own. All my sessions are on the phone or by Skype, so I take clients are from all over the world.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine which you may wish to share?
Ms. Alexandra Paul: I do cardio 6 days a week, which is usually 1 hour of swimming or the stationary bike. I do a 45 minute yoga routine every other day, which really helps my chronic lower back pain. I lift light free weights 3 times a week and walk about 4 times a week – on Wednesdays at 5:15 am for two hours with friends, and the other days when I have a slew of phone calls to make. It helps to multitask! I have a treadmill desk, so I also walk when I am doing emails or writing. Like right now! I make it a point to be active every day. If I don’t, I feel out of sorts and I have lower energy.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Ms. Alexandra Paul: I was a vegetarian for 33 years and I have been a vegan for 6 years. I also have taken all desserts and sweet treats out of my diet, except for granola. Otherwise, the only other sweet things I eat are fruit!
