Japanese Drinking Vinegar: Delicious and Good for You
For thousands of years, drinking vinegar has been a traditional health beverage
in Japan. Genki-Su of Portland, Oregon now offers a handcrafted line of drinking
vinegars based on co-founder Takako Shinjo’s family recipe.
Health aficionados like Dr. Oz and Oprah have extolled the health
benefits of vinegar for
weight loss and increased energy. That’s fine, but what we love about Genki-Su
is the taste. Made with coconut vinegar, flavored with fresh Japanese fruit, and
lightly sweetened with honey & stevia, Genki-Su is refreshing, tart, sweet &
tasty!
Genki-Su is currently available in stores throughout Oregon, and is served at some of the top restaurants and bars in Portland. If you’re outside of Oregon,
you can get your hands on their drinking vinegar through a crowd-funding
project on Kickstarter that’s
going on until September
