I
am looking for someone to "buddy system" this
fitness/weight loss with me, as we are a military family that
relocates a lot. It's difficult to make friends, especially
when you are as self-conscious about your appearance as I am.
Prior to getting pregnant 4yrs ago I weighed 110-115#. I
gained over 50# with pregnancy and have never been able to get
a grip on things since. I am 5'1" and hanging at 150#.
Anyone short out there can testify to the chunky syndrome. I
am setting my goals for a weight of 125-130#. I have
difficulty sticking to a healthful diet. My husband is very
fit and can eat anything, anytime. I also suffer from severe
stress incontinence that keeps me from going to the gym for my
workouts, so would just like to maybe find someone on line to
help keep this body moving. Thanks

Hi
there. I have a little problem with body image. I'm very
self-conscious about my own image and I have trouble knowing if I'm
"fat" or "normal" (normal, not fat but not
skinny). I was wondering if anybody could help me to see what is
considered fat and just 'normal'. I would like to know what kind of
exercises I can do to stay fit and FEEL normal. I find it hard to
include fitness into my daily life, usually it's because I'm lazy or
I don't have that much time. Please email me!! I'd like to meet and
talk to people who can help and motivate me. Thanks!

Hi, Ladies! I was just wondering if any of you breakout after
working out. Since the weather started getting a little warm here this month, I've noticed I am breaking out in the areas where
I seem to sweat the most: my face, neck, upper chest & sometimes a few on my back. It's not horrible or anything, but it is still
noticeable. Any suggestions?

Hey ladies! I just wanted to let you know that if you want to get in shape......IT'S ROLLERBLADE SEASON AGAIN! All winter I struggle to keep motivated, but when the snow melts it's a
pleasure. There is no other equally enjoyable way to stay in shape in my opinion. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed!

I really enjoy this site! Keep up the good work. I'm looking for sites that don't emphasize weight loss too much. I'm fortunate to not have to diet to maintain my weight, but find it a bit frustrating that a lot of the sites around are for people who are not at their ideal weight. It's hard to get new information, workouts, etc., nutrition when you're bottom line or goals are not the same as a person dieting for weight loss.

I have been
diagnosed with PVD (Pherial Vascular Disease) as a result of this disease, I have lost circulation in my right leg, so I am unable to continue my walking program. As a result, I have put on
about 30 lbs., and hate it, is there a fitness program available for me?? I would like to return to a weight of 130 lbs. I am 61" tall.
Thank you so much for any assistance you can give me.

I
am trying very hard to lose weight, and I only have about 15-20
pounds to lose. I was doing very well for a while (counting
calories, going to the gym every day), but then I just lost my
motivation. I know that nothing comes easy, but I need a plan that
will show me small but significant results fast (to keep me
motivated). Can anyone help?

I was wondering if you have any good techniques on getting rid of stubborn fat around the
ab's. I had a baby 14 months ago, I lost all the weight (and extra) through jogging alone. My problem is I stopped jogging for 3 months due to my schedule at the time and gained weight, all around the stomach...I look like
I am pregnant again; I have been working out 5 days a week for 6 weeks (3 days weights, 5 days cardio for 30-40
minutes) I have also cleaned up my eating, but I have seen barely any results, I am getting
discouraged.....do you have any suggestions that will give me results? Would having 1 gram of protein for every pound
I weigh make a difference? (I also forgot to mention that I have a cheat day once a week, meaning I eat whatever I want in that day)

I
absolutely love your "Monday motivations"--you are a very
blessed person to be able to make such a large impact on so many
people. You're definitely right, you need to go 100% or be
continuously dissatisfied. I think that philosophy could apply to
most of life!
Thanks, Kristen (1/12/01).

Hi, my name is Alicia Ross
and I wanted to tell you that it is very hard for me to
get such a nice firm stomach. I wish there was some way
that I could lose it without doing all this exercising,
burning calories, and etc. I just want to have a flat

Hi guys, recently I put on a lot of weight (15 kgs)
because of depression. Anyway, I have lost quite a bit
but am having a lot of problems getting my stomach flat
like it used to be. I am happy with the rest of my body
but, even when I suck in, my stomach sticks out as
though I am pregnant or something! Please help me, I
would really love any suggestions on what I could do
about my bulge. I do physical activity most days and am
reasonably good abut what I eat. Feel free to email me:)

Hi there, I just stumbled
upon your site tonight and it is terrific! I have found
myself in a difficult spot...one that involves losing
100 pounds. I am in perimenopause and struggle with
symptoms that lead to my overeating.
What happened today is this...my husband took family
photos which he picked up and showed me. I saw a photo
of me...I think I was surprised at my size...shocked
maybe...denial ...and I cried for hours.
So. its time to face the music...I don't know what I'm
afraid of...
If there is anyone in Canada, I'm from Ontario that would
like to share stories or buddy please contact me. I'd
love to hear from anyone who has been there or would
like to encourage me as I would them.
Thanks so much
Debbie (August 10, 2004)

Hey guys! I am a 16 yr old girl. I have always had a
problem with the lower half of my stomach. I really
would like to get it flat! I do so much exercise to try
and rid of it but nothing seems to work! I go to the gym
at least 4 times a week and aerobics about 3 times. Also
a lot of running and cycling when I am bored. I would
like to lose a stone. How long would this take? I am
about 5 foot 2 and weigh about 8 and a half stone. I
need a diet plan as well because I think that is where I
am going wrong, I love my chocolate and biscuits! So
someone please help, I am in dire need of some advice!
Ill just wait here with my double chocolate gateaux now
and wait for a reply. lol! PLEASE HELP!
