Ms. Namita Nayyar:
You are a world-leading media personality, actress, dancer and gymnast. How do you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?
Ms. Veronica Jarvis:
Prioritizing, passion, sheer power of will at times. I know I’m very fortunate to be able to do what I do, I had the freedom to choose. I keep that in mind and work hard to keep it that way.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Provide us with an insight into a day in Veronica’s life. The challenges you face & your rise against them?
Ms. Veronica Jarvis:
I’m very insecure at times, some days more than others. It’s very easy to start comparing yourself to other actresses in the audition room, but it’s a slippery slope so I actively try not to engage in that. Especially, since I go to auditions every week. It’s already hard enough as it is for women! But at times, I find myself poking at my insecurities and giving them too much attention. When that happens, I try to remind myself that I don’t know the battles others have gone through, I don’t know their insecurities and usually, whether you get the role or not is due to factors completely out of your control. Maybe you were too tall, maybe you just didn’t look what they had in mind, and that’s okay. Face mask and a good smoothie afterwards always makes you feel better!
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
You have been a sports-lover since childhood having taken dance classes, ranging from modern to bailatino and also being a gymnastic, ice skater and swimmer. What is your fitness regime as of now on a daily basis?
Ms. Veronica Jarvis:
It varies, I love hiking in L.A., the scenery is gorgeous, and the weather is world famous for its prettiness. In between hikes I do yoga and the workouts from the Kayla Itsines Bikini Body program. They’re super tough but make my muscles work!
