Tori Bowie: Exceptionally Talented Sprinter, Track and Field Athlete Reveals her Success Mantra "Allow yourself to make mistakes, but also be humble enough to correct those mistakes"

Ms. Namita Nayyar: Who has been your biggest influence and motivation in your path to success?

Ms. Tori Bowie: My Dad.  He expects greatness and pushes me to always want more..be more..and expect more from myself.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have won in 100 meters at 2014 Herculis Monaco IAAF Diamond League Track and Field Athletics Meet in spectacular time of 10.80 seconds. Tell us more about this race and your personal best performance?

Ms. Tori Bowie: I had mixed emotions...excited...I felt like I could conquer anything after the race.  I was extremely overwhelmed! I was really shocked and in awe...I knew I was ready , but I wasn't expecting those results that early in the season. My goal up to that point was to always get to the 10.80 mark, so I felt accomplished but at the same time scared because now I had to set a new time goal...which meant preparing myself for a different training routine and a different mental frame of mind.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: With exceptional hard work you are credited with all your achievements. Do you believe that the hand of Providence (Supreme Being) played a role in your success?

Ms. Tori Bowie: Yes I do.  I'm always thankful and I feel very blessed to be able to showcase the talent that God has given me.

Ms. Namita Nayyar: What you wish to say about the website Womenfitness.net and message for its visitors?

Ms. Tori Bowie: We only have one body...and you should treat it like gold! Being healthy doesn't mean the same to everyone.  Do whatever makes YOU feel good and powerful!.. That's healthy to me!
