With a smooth and swift transition into the world of film, the SAG actress and Ireland’s hottest export is rounding out 2017 with four new feature films and an unstoppable passion for her craft.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You have transitioned into the world of film, as a SAG actress rounding out 2017 with four new feature films. Tell us more about your journey into Hollywood?

Ms. Tiffany Stanley:

Ever since I was very young I wanted to move to America. I was a starry eyed child with the biggest dreams! After finishing University in Ireland, I entered the Miss Universe Ireland competition. After that my career really took off and I started modelling full time. I love Ireland but I had always wanted to explore America, so I bought a one way to ticket to LA, and the rest as they say, is history 🙂 I now live in Los Angeles and work as a model and actor full time.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

It is often said that there is cut-throat competition and you have to work really hard to survive here. What would be your best tips for a newcomer entering Hollywood?

Ms. Tiffany Stanley:

It is important to set a plan when arriving to LA. You need to have savings lined up, draft a list of agents or managers you might like to work with and also find a good coach who will help you fine-tune your skills. Things move fast here, you need to be at your best before you walk in the door for any auditions. It’s a tough market and you must think like a winner. Networking is important too, so try to get to the right social events and industry parties if you can. LA is a really hard place to live, but I also love a challenge and am an extremely driven person.

You have also created the popular international “Model Body Guide” giving your expert and tips on how to stay healthy and fit all year long. Share with us your Top 5 Fitness Tips.

Ms. Tiffany Stanley:
  1. Eat real foods as much as possible. Green veg, fruits, anything colorful and fresh will do you good. Fresh produce is key,
  2. Try to limit the amount of meat and dairy products you consume, they can lead to inflammation and increased toxicity in the body.
  3. Move more! I try to walk as much as possible. Staying active is highly beneficial- humans are designed to move around a lot, not sit in a chair all day.
  4. Drink water! This is so important for health, it flushes out toxins and keeps your system working. Aim for 8 glasses per day.
  5. Lift! Hit the weights or do some compound exercises at home like weighted squats, lunges and planks, the goal is to increase muscle mass so we look toned and lean. Lifting weights also helps raise your metabolism for 24 hours after the workout has ended.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Introduce us to a day in your life, while shooting and on a day off.

Ms. Tiffany Stanley:

My schedule is always so hectic, no two days are the same. Typically I will go to a casting, audition or shoot each day. Then I get home and do emails, learn lines for the next day and make any calls I need to. On my days off I like to hang out with friends, go to lunch, do yoga, play with my puppy and just chill out.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine?

Ms. Tiffany Stanley:

Good question! I am a huge fan of Yoga, it burns a lot of calories and is also very calming for the mind. Yoga and Pilates will change your body fast and make you very strong and lean. I like to do Yoga x2 a week and cardio x3 a week. My favorite cardio is an hours walk and mix in some light jogging here and there. I used to do kickboxing when I was younger, that’s a really fun sport too!

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

What kind of diet do you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?

Ms. Tiffany Stanley:

I tend to eat a lot of salads, soups, and other plant based meals. Sometimes I make fresh juice blends at home too, a great way to get all the nutrients in. I love sushi too, especially salmon. One of my favorite meals is Spinach pasta and sweet potato fries. I try not to eat too late in the evening and won’t eat after 8.30pm.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Share with us your haircare and skincare routine.

Ms. Tiffany Stanley:

My skincare routine is very simple, I wash my face with a simple cleanser and use coconut oil to moisturize! I’m not a fan of expensive creams or serums, they tend to contain a lot of toxins. Organic coconut oil is a game changer. I always use make up with SPF in it too, as the sun can lead to premature aging. Haircare I like to keep simple also, wash & condition then use a heat protector spray on the ends.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You have been associated actively with many charities for the passion to help animals serving as an ambassador for PETA, that is dear to your heart, tell us how have you been able to achieve and quench your thirst of giving back to the society through this endeavor of yours?

Ms. Tiffany Stanley:

I am a huge animal lover and grew up in the Irish countryside having so many pets, horses, cats, dogs, fish, all sorts. Animals can’t speak for themselves so it is imperative we teach compassion and kindness towards other sentient beings. We all feel pain the same way. PETA is doing amazing work to be a voice for animals.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You have graced magazines like Sports Illustrated, Esquire, Maxim, etc. What is the best advice you can give to do before a major photoshoot?

Ms. Tiffany Stanley:

Two days before a shoot I will limit my carbs so I can avoid bloating. I don’t eat breakfast on the morning of the shoot, I will just have some tea and a small snack of almonds. When shooting swimwear you can afford to have any water retention. Modelling is not easy but it’s always worth the effort when the pics turn out great and the magazine is happy.

How would you describe your journey in the entertainment industry?

Ms. Tiffany Stanley:

My journey started with pageants like the Miss Universe, then I started modelling full time. I’ve always enjoyed performing and had an interest in acting from a young age. My goal is to fully transition from the role of model to established actor.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

With an audience of over 868k followers on your Instagram account @tiffanystanley1 you’re a social media sensation and an internet leading star. How does it feel that you are able to influence and inspire the healthy lifestyle of so many individuals?

Ms. Tiffany Stanley:

It feels nice that people ask my advice on fitness and health. I have learned a lot over the years and tried all sorts of faddy diets when I was younger, but I soon realized that eating natural whole foods is the key. It’s really not that hard once you just make it part of your lifestyle. Over time you will learn what works for your body.
