Tiffany Dion

Tiffany Dion is a stunning actress and writer, known for Betrayed (2016), The Devil’s Waltz (2015) and Blood Widow (2014).

Check out her exclusive interview with Namita Nayyar, President Women Fitness.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You are a stunning actress having done movies like Betrayed (2016), The Devil’s Waltz (2015) and Blood Widow (2014). Tell us more about your journey in Hollywood?

Ms. Tiffany Dion:

Well, I started my early acting career in Florida and growing up, California had always been my “dream” place to live.  So when I was 15 I traveled to Los Angeles to attend a 3 month intensive acting training program at the well-known Margie Haber Studio (another dream of mine).  Once here, I knew my journey was about to begin and this was where I was meant to be, and never looked back.  Soon after the move I attended my first Hollywood Red Carpet Event after being nominated for a Young Artist Award for a lead role in a short film.  From there, I began self-submitting for numerous film and television projects and attended many auditions and finally booked a lead role on Season 2 of Investigation Discovery’s hit show “Betrayed” which is slated to air early 2018.  I have grown so much as an actor here and enjoy learning and pursuing my craft.  I am currently managed by The ESI Network and represented by Mavrick Artists Agency, excited and looking forward to a busy pilot season!

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

It is often said that there is cut-throat competition and you have to work really hard to survive here. What would be your best tips for a newcomer entering Hollywood?

Ms. Tiffany Dion:

There’s definitely a lot of people here with the same goals and passions that I have, so there is a lot of competition. The tips I would give are to remember why you are here in the first place. The most important thing is that you are enjoying what you’re doing, regardless of the stature. Study your craft, take classes and get out and network.  You’re going to attend a lot more auditions than booking the job, but that just makes the things you book even more special, right?

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Introduce us to a day in your life, while shooting and on a day off.

Ms. Tiffany Dion:

When I’m shooting, everything I do is pertaining to the life I’m living on that particular production. After hair, makeup, and wardrobe I spend a lot of time reflecting and making sure that I know my character so well that their actions and reactions are completely natural. Filming usually starts early in the morning (way earlier than I would wake up on a normal day) and can take up most if not all of the day. Getting to know who you’re working with better makes it an even more enjoyable experience. I love being able to share ideas with the crew to try new things and having a creatively collaborative experience.  On my days off, I focus a lot on music. Whether I’m learning how to play new songs on the ukulele/keyboard or filming videos for my YouTube channel, I am always trying to grow musically. I love going to the movies, spending time outside, and browsing at my local thrift shops.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine?

Ms. Tiffany Dion:

When I hit the gym, the treadmill and elliptical machine are my go-to’s. I also spend time with the free weights.  I really enjoy being outside and go on lots of walks (and runs) every day with my puppy. Mostly runs because she’s hard to keep up with. I also do lots of stretching, dancing around my room, and squats!  I hope to get back to dance classes at the local studios too and looking forward to learning kick boxing, looks like fun and a great workout!

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

What kind of diet do you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?

Ms. Tiffany Dion:

I love fruit! My favorite thing to make is strawberry/banana/mango smoothies with almond milk and kale. I have a major sweet tooth, and there are definitely things I’d like to change about my diet. I do take into account how certain foods will affect and nourish my mind/body.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Share with us your haircare and skincare routine.

Ms. Tiffany Dion:

I use hair masks every week or so to ensure my hair stays moisturized. I only shampoo once or twice a week as needed and always use a heat protectant spray before I take an iron to it. For my skin, I always use a moisturizer with SPF during the day to protect my skin from the sun. My skin is super dry (thanks eczema) so my main focus is on hydration. I feel like everybody says this when asked about their skincare routines, but water is so important and you will reap the benefits!!! I also try to stay away from heavy makeup on my days off to let my skin breathe!

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You are also passionate about writing, tell us about the things you love to write?

Ms. Tiffany Dion:

I write every single day, about anything and everything. I have a million thoughts a minute, and it feels so good at the end of the day to put what’s in your head onto paper. Then you look at what you’ve got and see what kind of inspiration you can draw from it, (poetry, songs, or just a journal entry). All forms of creating are therapeutic to me.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

What are your future plans?

Ms. Tiffany Dion:

I still see myself pursuing acting and music professionally. They have been such big parts of my life and a huge part of who I am, so I can’t see myself ever giving that up. I plan on continuing my college studies and getting my degree in Psychology. I hope to one day create my own or work with an organization for youths struggling with mental illness.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding actresses, who all are your followers and shall like to know from you for their climb to the ladder of success in this field?

Ms. Tiffany Dion:

I think the most important piece of advice I can give is to not lose sight of who you are. The amount of rejection in this field can get extremely discouraging, but a lot of the time it’s over something you can’t change. The person who got the part was taller, or older, or had different colored hair. Not getting the part does not mean you are not enough. There is a part out there you will be perfect for. There are so many stories yet to be told.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:
