Namita Nayyar:
A morning ritual that has stayed by you ever since you started modelling?
Tahlia Paris:
I didn’t used to have a morning routine but a few months ago I started getting into celery juice every morning. It has really made a difference in the way I look, but most importantly, on the way I feel!
Namita Nayyar:
At the age of 5, you were scouted out by a modelling agency which led you to grow as a model. You even started doing beauty pageants at age six. Five Key essential for a girl to pursue a career in modeling.
Tahlia Paris:
I was lucky enough to start my modeling career at such a young age with the help and support of my mom. I would say the “5 most essential things” for someone trying to pursue a modeling career would be:
- Have fun!!!
- Don’t ever push yourself too hard with diet or exercise, practice balance and self-love. Embrace your body for the way you were born!
- Make all connections you can for future possible work. When you’re starting out, do a lot of free work to get your name out there and to get comfortable in front of the camera.
- Be yourself
- Don’t look at others and say ‘I want to look like that’, or compare yourself. You are unique, be all that you are and love YOU!
Namita Nayyar:
Your job calls upon travelling and working at odd hours, how do you cope with the demands? Five-time management skills
Tahlia Paris:
Modeling has brought me to so many different places, not only in the US but around the world. Sometimes when you get to your destination, you’re exhausted after a long flight and you have to get right into hair and makeup. The thing that gets me going and energized is coffee! Also just knowing that I’m doing what I love. When the shoot is over, I know I can relax and the reward is always worth the effort.
