Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Ms. Ryann O’Toole:
No special diet, I enjoy eating healthy but have no problem enjoy life’s temptations once in awhile! My way of eating would consist of a high lean protein, lots of veggies and berries, and gluten free as often as possible. On the road this can be very difficult to do sometimes. However, you’ll be surprised how many restaurants provide gluten free options.
I hardly ever drink soda (maybe 1 every 4 months), stick to water and tea. No coffee for me. I try and stay away from fake sugars as often as possible, and No fast food! I think it is very important to take vitamins. The body needs much more than what our food can provide us, especially when I am constantly traveling. If you don’t take vitamins already, here’s a simple list to get you started: fish oils, calcium, magnesium lactate, zinc, vitamins C, and B. This is just a simple start. I take about 20 pills a day! It keeps me healthy and going strong!
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
You have glowing skin and gorgeous hairs. Do you take some kind of skin treatment to keep it young and glowing and secondly what you do to your hairs to make them look so stunning?
Ms. Ryann O’Toole:
Well I think using good shampoo and conditioner helps! I never go to the grocery store to get my hair product. I think spending a little extra on good shampoo and conditioner is important especially being in the sun as much as I am. This also goes back to the vitamin subject, I think making sure your body is healthy is also very important. Standard process makes all organic products, only using plant or animal based products.
As far as my skin, that’s definitely something I learned quickly out on Tour that your skin needs the most protection being out in the sun as much as we are. Get a good sunblock for your body and face, which can easily be found at your local dermatologist. I think Facials regularly are important as well. At night you want to hydrate your skin and put back into it what the sun takes out of it during the day.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding professional golfers who all are your fans, they shall like to know from you, what they should do for their climb to ladder of success in field of professional golf ?
Ms. Ryann O’Toole:
Make big plans for yourself, imagine the impossible being not impossible. Don’t ever stop chasing your dreams and don’t ever stop dreaming. Work harder than others work around you, but most importantly have fun! Enjoy a moment off, a moment of escape. Only way to keep working hard is to have a body and mind that is willing to grind! And the only way to have that is to enjoy what you are doing. Life is too short to be doing something you weren’t born to do.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
How did you feel before and after wining on 10th April 2011 the Santorini Riviera Nayarit Classic?
Ms. Ryann O’Toole:
I don’t really remember it was so long ago. I will say that before felt like any other day, just another tournament. After, well after I couldn’t believe I had won. I was so in the moment that I didn’t even think about winning, just the shot at hand until it was over. Once I had that trophy and gave my speech I still was in shock. It wasn’t what I expected it to feel like.
Don’t get me wrong it felt amazing and I was incredibly happy, but it wasn’t a feeling that fulfilled me, or filled that empty space inside me. A space that I believe is saved for much greater success; maybe winning the US Open, or winning multiple times on tour and becoming number 1 in the world, or making it into the Hall of Fame? Winning is a great feeling, but my sights are set high, and I want to win majors and win multiple weeks in a row!
