Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Being a versatile talent who can segue between acting, singing and dancing, we’re pretty sure you lead a very hectic life. Share with us a day routine.
Ms. Ruby Modine:
PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!
I wake up at 7am every day. I work out in the morning and very often will have auditions during the course of the day. However, when that is not the case I will spend time working on scripts, writing music and my beloved photography. I often paint, read and search for inspiration in my every day life, be it the friends I surround myself with and what I see in the world IE: street art, photography, skateboarding etc.
The idea is to do something every day that makes me a better artist and human being.
Classes are very important too which are happening more and more often. There are functions for charities I support and I will always find downtime with my friends and family. Movie nights, game nights and dinners. It is important to also have nights where I do nothing and have me time.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Being an actress, fitness is strictly called upon. Unfold the exercises that comprise your fitness regime in everyday life?
Ms. Ruby Modine:
Krav Maga, hikes, jogging, boxing, weights, yoga, isometrics, swimming… I do a lot of everything because not only is it necessary but it makes me feel great and centered.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Consuming a healthy diet is important along with a good workout. What diet do you follow or would advise your friends, in order to stay healthy and physically fit? Enlist your 5 favorite breakfast recipes?
Ms. Ruby Modine:
I believe in eating when you’re hungry. I don’t follow any kind of strict dieting, however, veggies and fruits are the most important.
- Steel cut oatmeal and chopped fruit.
THE BEST SALAD: Super greens which include baby greens, green Swiss chard, tat soi, arugula and spinach. Then I include hemp seeds, probiotic kraut, ground flaxseeds, home made dressing, avocado, tomato… it’s a huge salad.
- VEGGIE BURGERS!!
- Vegetable pot pies
- Lotus foods noodles and I chop up tons of veggies and make it super spicy.
- Gluten free pizza and there is nothing wrong with the occasional junk food.
