Note:- Using drained tuna in brine, rather than tuna in oil, makes this a low fat recipe. Raw vegetable crudités, carrots for Vitamin A (as beta-carotene) and raw pepper, celery, courgette, or cauliflower florets for Vitamin C
Ingredients
- Can tune fish in brine: 200 g / 7 oz , drained
- Greek-style yogurt 45 ml / 3 tbsp
- Finely grated rind 1/2 lime
- Chopped fresh dill 15 ml / 1tbsp
- Salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Place the tuna fish and yogurt in a blender and process for a few seconds until almost smooth. Alternatively, mash thoroughly with a fork.
- Stir in the lime rind, dill, and seasoning to taste.
- Spoon into a small dish and serve with sticks of raw vegetables for dipping.
