Ingredients
- Pomfret- 300 gms (2 nos.);
- Soaked soyabean- 50 gms (1/2 Katori);
- Green Chilli-1
- Ginger Paste- 1/2 tsp
- Garlic paste- 1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves- a few
- Mint leaves- a few
- Turmeric Powder- 1/4 tsp
- Cumin Powder- 1/4 tsp
- Lemon juice- 1 tsp
- Salt and pepper- to taste
- Banana leaves- 2
- Cotton String
Instructions

Clean fish; slice right through the bone. Apply salt and lemon juice and keep aside.

Pressure cook soyabean and mash them.

Grind coriander, mint leaves, chopped chilli, ginger paste, turmeric, cumin powder, salt and pepper. Mix with mashed soyabean.

Soften banana leaves by holding each over a low flame for a minute.

Spread soyabean mixture on both sides of the fish, place on a banana leaf and wrap like a parcel. Tie with a piece of cotton string.

Place the parcels in a steamer. Steam for 20 minutes or till done.
