International Fitness Model Patrizia Yangüela Shares Her Plans For The Upcoming 2018!

Exotic, fierce, and a fanatical jet-setter, Swiss born Patrizia Yangüela is now conquering the US with the release of her steamy new 2018 calendar on Sunday, October 22ND. Genetically gifted with the brains to boot, the tetra-lingual model has amassed 1.4+ million clamoring fans on Instagram alone with her numbers growing by the day.Born in Zurich, Switzerland, Patrizia was raised by her Dominican mother and her Swiss father. Being raised internationally and living in multiple areas around the world, Patrizia is fluent in four languages including English, German, Spanish and Portuguese, as well as being conversational in French. Aside from being born in Zurich, Patrizia has also spent time abroad living in Miami, Florida, and the Caribbean.

Numerous world travels taught Patrizia the importance of sharing and respecting different cultures, a value she is passionate about and celebrates frequently with new cultural expeditions and excursions. When Patrizia is not busy building her empire or interacting with fans, she keeps her body in tip-top shape by lifting weights, hiking and cycling.

What originally began as a personal journey to get fit and lead a healthy lifestyle, quickly turned into a fairy tale discovery when you were scouted after posting fitness progress photos on Instagram. Tell us more about your journey into the modelling world?

Ms. Patrizia Yangüela:

I was feeling very insecure every time I put on a dress or bikini. I was tired of my insecurities affecting my relationships, so that is when I threw myself into the gym and got my butt moving! Within weeks I started seeing results and receiving compliments. The positivity elevated my self-esteem and motivation and that’s when my husband had the great idea to start an Instagram to show off my fitness progress and new found lifestyle. My Instagram transformed from only fitness inspiration, to lingerie shots as well. The combination of health, confidence, and sexiness on my Instagram is what my followers love.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Tell us about your experience creating your new steamy 2018 calendar. What inspired you to create this calendar?

Ms. Patrizia Yangüela:

I think they say so much about your personality, plus all the hot models from the 90’s had a calendar. Since the start of my journey, it had been one of many goals. Creating the calendar was tricky, I shot and produced it in the US, which required a lot of organization of details and travel planning beforehand. I wanted to present my calendar in a fun and sexy way that also describes a bit of my personality.

Share with us your Top 5 Fitness Tips to have a healthy and fit body.

Ms. Patrizia Yangüela:

Give your body time – change doesn’t happen within days.

Remember to live and enjoy life

Less is more – if your body is stressed it is counterproductive and changes won’t happen.

Find a good balance with your meals. Always eating the same thing can become depressing and unmotivating

Define your fitness goal , what do you want to achieve?

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Introduce us to a day in your life, while shooting and on a day off.

Ms. Patrizia Yangüela:

The first thing I do is go to the gym and have an intense workout, then immediately go home and prepare my meals for the day. After that, I head to my office to start working on emails coordinating shoots or work trips.

On the day of a shoot I wake up early to wash my hair and face then head to the shoot location with all my luggage. My makeup artist will do my hair and makeup to prepare me for the shoot. After we lock in all the looks, we begin the shoot. They usually last all day, so I always prepare for cold weather or hot like it has been in Los Angeles lately :-D.

What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine?

Ms. Patrizia Yangüela:

I try to mix up my exercise regime by doing a lot of functional, high intensity workouts and weight training. I have learned that personally, it’s very important to combine all types of training to see better results.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

What kind of diet do you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?

Ms. Patrizia Yangüela:

I am on a high protein diet because it’s good for muscle growth and performance. I cut back on carbs but still eat healthy ones, like sweet potatoes. I also combine that with a lot of greens because they are so vital to your health. When I follow this diet I feel better and perform better during my workouts as well.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Share with us your haircare and skincare routine.

Ms. Patrizia Yangüela:

First of all, I drink a lot of water which is essential for your skin’s health. I also do facial treatments 2-3 times a year. On top of that, I always hydrate my skin in the morning with a great moisturizer. I’ve learned that the best trick for hair is not to wash it every day, your own natural oils are actually very healthy for your hair. If I still need extra help, I use conditioning treatments to take care of it.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You have been associated actively with working to spread body positivity to women around the world, that is dear to your heart, tell us how have you been able to inspire women through this endeavor of yours?

Ms. Patrizia Yangüela:

I am so proud of my positive message because us women have to stick together and not envy each other. I think all women are beautiful regardless of their shape or size and are all sexy in their own way. I love receiving fan mail from young women asking how they can achieve their fitness goals because I love to spread positivity and give advice. My overall goal is to expose that all women are strong and strong is sexy. I love to inspire and motivate other women to look and feel their best no matter what.

You have done various spectacular photo shoots. What is the best advice you can give to your compatriots to do before a major photoshoot?

Ms. Patrizia Yangüela:

Always get enough rest and eat a light dinner to avoid bloating. Photoshoots are exhausting and can take all day, so always take your own snacks because you may not like what is provided.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

What are your tips for staying healthy during the Christmas season?

Ms. Patrizia Yangüela:

Stay on top of your fitness regime and you can still enjoy the holidays with your family.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

With an audience of over 1.5 Million followers on your Instagram account @patriziayanguela you’re a social media sensation and an internet leading star. How does it feel that you are able to influence and inspire the healthy lifestyle of so many individuals?

Ms. Patrizia Yangüela:

I feel very honored to be seen as an internet star. It’s a humbling experience because I’m also still leaning from my environment every single day. To be able to bring motivation to others is a huge deal, but the most important thing is to make it seem realistic. I love to be a realistic and genuine role model that women can look up to.
