In 2011 Paige was not the toned and fit woman that you see today on her social media posts. She was very thin with hardly any muscle tone. It was then that she was approached by a trainer at the gym about proper health and nutrition. After speaking with the trainer she decided to step out of her comfort zone and enter her first bikini competition.
Being unhealthy comes in all forms, whether it is being too thin or overweight. She desired to be a strong fit woman. Although she had grown up playing soccer and being active she had never made her health or fitness a priority. But over the next 4 months she trained harder than she ever had and pushed her body to limits she never knew she could. Finally competition day came; little did she know that her life would never be the same. She placed 2nd at Ronnie Coleman Classic, the biggest NPC statewide competition in the United States. The show resulted in exposure she never could have anticipated.
She is now a Fitness Trainer, Model, Icon and the Global Ambassador of F45 Training.
Let’s meet the fitness sensation, Paige Hathaway and get to know her up close in an exclusive interview with Namita Nayyar, President Women Fitness.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
You have come an incredibly long way from being thin to fit, to placing 2nd at Ronnie Coleman Classic, the biggest NPC statewide competition in the United States. Walk us through your spectacular fitness journey.
Ms. Paige Hathaway:
This journey has been nothing short than challenging and exciting. I went from placing top 2 at the Ronnie Coleman to being turned down by top agencies in New York and then blindly passing out homemade “comp” cards at fitness expos, I was determined to become a fitness model. The biggest thing I’ve learned along the way would be to never give up something your heart desires. If I would have given up after the first thing that didn’t workout, I definitely wouldn’t be where I am today! After many thing that didn’t work out, I put forth into creating a social media that I could connect with people through fitness. After two years, my social grew to nearly 2 million followers and I knew right then and there I was on to something! Being from Oklahoma, I decided to take a risk and follow my dreams on a bigger scale to Los Angeles. Its such a wonderful thing to be able to connect with millions of people all around the world through fitness and I hope to continue to inspire and show people to be fearful to live out their dreams! Life is truly what you make of it.
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
You are a fitness model & trainer, motivational coach and entrepreneur. Introduce us to a day in your remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle.
Ms. Paige Hathaway:
I wake up around 6:30 every morning (I’m not a morning person more of a night owl but I’m definitely trying to work on this). I usually spend about an hour in the am with my pups (on a walk and feeding them, I do this because I’m fairly busy throughout the day). Then breakfast (which is something like a protein smoothie with almond butter and oats or a breakfast burrito with beans … all depends on how much time I have).
After breakfast If I don’t have a scheduled photoshoot or meeting Ill head straight to a F45 workout or gym session (try to sweat before I get the day really started). Back to my house or cafe to crush emails which would either consist of client work, product emails, content creation ideas, conference calls with my manager and/or partnering companies. (I try to get all by desktop computer work done before I eat lunch).
Lunch is always usually a White Fish meal (I’ve been pescatarian for about 10 months now) a carb like sweet potatoes, couscous or quinoa and then a veggies!
Usually everyday I have a photoshoot or video shoot varies between a bunch of different things like: Website subscription tutorial videos, YouTube video, social media content, endorsement content and photo or video shoots for other outlets! Dinner is after all of that and usually I’ll do a fatties fish and veggies while I get caught up on anything else that came up that day and then bed around midnight (I’m a night owl).

With a chiseled physique that you possess, staying fit is definitely an integral part of your lifestyle. Unfold the exercises that comprise your fitness regime on a daily basis?
Ms. Paige Hathaway:
By far the best thing that has kept me in shape is doing F45 at least 3-4 days a week and keeping my diet 80/20! 80/20 is where I live a maintainable blanched life (especially because I travel so much) I keep it healthy 80% of the time mostly choosing whole foods when eating, good foods (fish, seafood, beans, quinoa, couscous, sweet potatoes, veggies, lots of nuts and nut butters) and then still living and enjoying foods that might not be AS healthy 20% of the time! F45 has TREMENDOUSLY helped me stay on track by allowing me to get the best workout in 45 mins while making it fun with the community environment and challenging.

Proper nourishment is equally essential to stay healthy. Enlist your 5 favorite snacks options?

- Edamame
- Low fat Popcorn

You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Share with us your haircare & skincare routine.
Ms. Paige Hathaway:
My go to products for skincare is a company called Truself Organics (@TruselfOrganics). I’ve been using their Mask for over 3 years (I use this once a week, usually at the beginning of the week to prep my skin for the week) My skin is very sensitive especially since I work out and travel often.. its super easy for my pores to get clogged and break out if I don’t take care of it properly. I’m obsessed with their whole clear skin kit that includes a mask, moisturizer and cleanser. If you’re looking for amazing hair products.. I love a company called Oribe I feel like I can’t live without either of these companies!

Who has been your greatest influence and motivator in your success in the field of fitness?
Ms. Paige Hathaway:
I had always looked up to a fitness icon named Chady Dunmore! She was one of the first women who I saw that had muscles and was feminine! Back before Instagram was “the cool” thing.. being in the magazines symbolized “making it big” – she was always on all the magazines and I loved the way she represented strong women!
Ms. Namita Nayyar:
Being the Global Ambassador of F45 Training, what would be your smart tips for a fitness enthusiast (beginner), who wishes to tone her body?
Ms. Paige Hathaway:
I think F45 is the perfect workout for a fitness enthusiast beginner and advanced to whip that body into tip top toning shape. The great thing about F45 if you are a beginner is that it lays out your workout for you and shows you how to perform each exercise as you go whereas if you are a beginner and go to a gym, you might not know what to do once you get there!

You have done many photo shoots and shown your spectacular chiseled physique. What advice do you wish to give to the women of today to be body confident?
Ms. Paige Hathaway:
Poor body confidence has a greater impact on your quality of life than people may realize. We must always remember that a beautiful thing is never perfect and to fill our minds with positive thoughts towards ourselves! One thing I think we all can do to booth our confidence is find a workout you enjoy and can stick with! Sweating and getting your heart rate up stimulates the brain. It boosts your “happy chemicals,” relieves stress, alleviates anxiety AND improves your body confidence! So get out there and find a work out you can stick with and watch it benefit not only your body but your mind and soul as well!

With cut-throat competition in the fitness industry, one has to work really hard to shine in the crowd. Best tips for a fitness enthusiast who wishes to make a mark.

My best piece of advice here is to BE RELATABLE!!! There are soooo many people out there not trying to “make it” … you’ve got to be able to connect with your audience, be real and be relatable!

How does it feel that you are able to influence the healthy lifestyle of so many individuals? Though social media has boosted millions of opportunities for most, we cannot deny the impact of cyberbullying prevailing online. What would you like to say about that?
Ms. Paige Hathaway:
With the good, comes the bad! I’ve realized in this world that you (you are not a pizza and you can’t please everyone) haha .. I love that saying but honestly.. you can’t please everyone… so why even try!
