Nicole Murphy is an American fashion model, television personality, designer, actress, and businesswoman who has spent her life in front of the camera in the public spotlight. From being a fashion model to reality TV star, she has made a career of looking great and having a great body. Over the years, she has perfected her workouts to get that sexy body.
At 50 with 5 kids, she knows maintaining a great body calls for determination & hard work. She launched her blog, Nicole Murphy Fitness dedicated to women who desire to have a sexy body!

You are best known for your international modelling career, and participation on the reality television show Hollywood Exes. Tell us more about your spectacular journey?
Nicole Murphy
I got to meet some amazing people in my lifetime that I would never think I could meet…. Michael Jackson, Sammy Davis Jr, Lucille Ball, Prince. Just to name a few. Career wise, modeling gave me the opportunity to travel. I was able to live in Milan and Paris. I was able to experience the culture and see some spectacular sites. At the age of 17, I was working and living my life overseas.
Doing reality TV, it gives you an opportunity to launch business ventures that you have lined up. I was able to launch my jewelry line FLP through the show. Being behind the scenes with reality TV gave me an opportunity to see how everything comes together.

Introduce us to a day in your life.
Nicole Murphy
A day in the life with Nicole consists of starting my day at 6:30am with breakfast and prepare for the gym. I drop my daughter off at school by 8:30am. Rush to the gym to meet my trainer at 9am. Light snack after the gym from my favorite spot Earthbar. I usually have about 4hrs to focus on my business ventures – skincare, fitness apparel, and jewelry line. Then I am off to pick up my daughter Bella from school to make sure we home in time to meet with the after-school tutor. Prepare dinner and repeat the next day!

You are a world leading media personality, fashion model, television personality, designer, actress, and businesswoman. How do you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?
Nicole Murphy
I have a great team that helps me to stay focused. They make sure that I stay on track with daily meetings / conference calls, updates. I am hands on with all my businesses and it is difficult to manage everything especially the weeks that I have my daughter. I must make sure that most of my focus is on her. So, I guess to keep it simple, it takes a village to make sure that everything is done and manageable. I am finally in a great place when it comes to my personal and business life because I have the support that I need.
All my hard work and even the struggles have made me more focused. I have learned to set aside 3-4 hours a day just to focus solely on my businesses. This honestly helps to make sure that everything is handled and moving in the right direction.

Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Nicole Murphy
During the week I do try to eat clean at least 4-5 days. Although I do have my moments. My main meal focusses when eating clean is protein and vegetables. If I eat carbs, it is healthy carbs…. brown rice, quinoa, black beans, sweet potatoes. I drink lots of water throughout the day. I stay away from juices and sodas because that is nothing but sugar and useless calories. I rather eat an oatmeal raisin cookie! It all boils down to be conscious about what you are eating. Eat small portions, stop when you are full. Stay away from processed foods. Keep it simple and clean.

You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Do you take skin treatment to keep it young and glowing and secondly what you do to your hair to make them look so stunning?

Well to make it quick and simple I do hydro facials and use my anti-aging skincare products – Zobela!
For my hair…Chaz Dean products – Wen. I have been using his products since the very beginning of his launch. I am a faithful customer because his products keep my hair healthy.

I do have a fitness app, NicoleMurphyFitness.com, that I created because I get asked all the time what I do to stay in shape. But in short, I do weight training, cardio intervals, and days I don’t workout with my trainer I do spin class, bike riding or do the Santa Monica stairs.

With an audience of over 713K followers on your Instagram account @nikimurphy you’re a social media sensation and an internet leading star. How does it feel that you are able to influence the healthy lifestyle of so many individuals?
Nicole Murphy
It feels great that I can be a role model to so many individuals out there. It helps me to stay focused and keep up with my healthy lifestyle because I know they are watching LOL! Especially with this younger generation, we need more positive female role models. Embrace your own body and love yourself but in a respectable way. I also want women out there to know that we are all individuals and our body types are different. So, it makes me feel good to know that I can help guide them on the right path to a healthy lifestyle in a way that will work for them through my social media platforms.

Tell us about your latest fitness line that is due to release in Summer 2018.
Nicole Murphy
The one unique thing about my fitness line is that I designed the floral pattern myself. No one will have it! The line is extremely comfortable, and it transitions into day wear right from the gym if you need to run errands. I am so excited for everyone to see it.

You have a fantastic Jewelry line, www.flpbynicolemurphy.net. Tell us about the process and your role in creating it.
Nicole Murphy
It started by accident as a hobby and I would sit on my bathroom floor making necklaces, bracelets, and anklets. I would wear them, and people would ask me where I bought it from. Once I told them I made it, the next question was how much would it cost to make me one? So that opened me up to selling to close friends and family. Eventually I was making enough bracelets that I decided to launch Friendship Love & Peace in 2009.

Advice and motivational words to the inspiring and budding actresses, who all are your fans and shall like to know from you for their climb to the ladder of success?
Nicole Murphy
Stay focused if this is something that you truly want to do. Don’t let anything or anyone stop you. Make sure that you are doing it for the right reasons, and this is something that you absolutely love doing because if you don’t it will feel like an everyday job and you will lose the passion to stay focused.
