Sing For Your Health
– Reported, December 30 2014
Whether you sing in the shower, while cooking or in a choir, karaoke or concert, singing is fun and can make you happy. But it has a lot more health benefits than that. You don’t need to be trained to sing, since everyone who can speak can sing as well.
A recent study by scientists at the University of Frankfurt in Germany that was published in the latest edition of the US Journal of Behavioural Medicine claimed that singing is an aerobic activity that strengthens the immune system and has a number of benefits associated with it. Singing has been considered to be a healing tool since ancient times, and this holds true today as well.
