Swine flu might have reached Arctic Norway

Hospital personnel confirm to news broadcaster TV2 that two people have been hospitalized with symptoms similar to the much-feared swine flu. Both two individuals have recently come home from Mexico, NRK reports.
Hospital experts are still cautious to say that swine flu has reached the far northern town. We consider it unlikely, but still take all precautious measures and follow standard procedures to get the cases clarified as soon as possible.
The news from Tromsø come at the same time as Russian regional authorities step up preparedness. President Medvedev today called on all Russian regions to take all necessary measures to avoid the flu from reaching the country, the presidents website informs.
