Oral contraceptives may harm womens health

According to a source, birth control pills (oral contraceptives) that can be purchased at any drugstore as OTC drugs can cause breast cancer and cervical cancer as well as other various side effects. Therefore, one should consult with a doctor before taking them.
The Korean Medical Association (KMA) insists that oral contraceptives are restricted in many cases and their side effects are common, but they can be easily purchased at any drugstore without a doctors diagnosis and prescription, causing serious misuse and overuse. Therefore, the KMA requested the Ministry for Health, Welfare, and Family Affairs (MIHWF) to change birth control pills to prescription drugs. The birth control pills are categorized as prescription drugs in advanced countries like the US, England, Japan, and Germany. They belong to the most dangerous X group in the categorized fetal risk drug standard of the FDA.
Specifically, someone with a disease or a past history of vasculitis, thromboembolism, cerebro-vascular disease, or coronary heart disease a serious liver function disorder breast cancer unexplained vaginal bleeding, a female smoker over 35, or a pregnant woman should never take oral contraceptives. Also, women who have migraines, hypertension, fibroid tumors of the uterus, epilepsy, gallbladder disease, or elective surgery should not take oral contraceptives if possible, according to the KMA.
Oral contraceptives can cause fatal side effects to human body, including a stroke, vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, hypertension, myocardial infarction, coagulopathy, cervical cancer, breast cancer, bile duct disorder, liver tumor, thyroid or adrenal gland disorder, dyslipidemia, diabetes, and thrombocytopenia, as well as common side effects including nausea, vomiting, weight increase, menstrual change, irregular bleeding, depression, headache, altered sexual response, breast tenderness, dizziness, and pimples.
Birth control pills can also cause periodontitis, increased virus infections, functional ovarian cyst, hair loss, backache, and ovulatory delay. More women have been smoking recently, and the birth control pills can cause a high risk of blood clots for women who smoke. They also may cause and accelerate various cancers, including breast cancer and cervical cancer.
