In the print ad, she is pictured inside a fish bowl alongside the words, “Captive Orcas: Sad. Lonely. A long way from home.” “I am a whale, an Orca, but the way I envisioned it, is, for me, animals are not much different than human brings,” Krupa said in the clip. “We both feel pain. You know, when they’re separated from their families, they cry. So, it’s like, for me, it’s the same thing. That’s why I wanted to still keep myself looking like myself and having the symbol of the Orca painted on my body. And I can only envision and feel the pain of these animals being stuck in a tiny aquarium.” “I mean, your whole life is stuck there. It’s like, why?” she added. “For the profit of selfish human beings?”
Seaworld has not commented about the ad. Animal rights activists and other critics have often criticized the company over its theme parks’ Orca, or killer whale stunt shows. SeaWorld had earlier this year launched its own advertising campaign titled “SeaWorld Cares” to set the “record straight on false accusations by activists who oppose whales and other animals in zoological settings.”
“We do not capture killer whales in the wild,” the group says. “Our killer whales’ life spans are equivalent with whales in the wild…Our habitats are among the largest in the world today and allow for the highest and safest standards of care.”
This is the fourth racy ad campaign Krupa has shot for PETA. In 2012, she stripped down to her underwear and sported long, fake pubic hair to protest fur apparel. She also appeared in anti-fur ads for the group in 2007.
In 2009, Krupa posed for PETA’s “Be an Angel for Animals” campaign, appearing as a nude angel and sporting nothing but a strategically placed crucifix. The Catholic League was not amused.
Krupa, a Catholic herself, said she was shocked by the group’s response.

Krupa featured on the television show Superstars in June 2009. Krupa, who took ballet lessons as a child competed in Season 9 of Dancing with the Stars with one-time champion Derek Hough. She finished in 4th place.
She sang a version of The Spinners’ “I’ll Be Around” as part of a duo with Manon; it was released November 19, 2009. On December 2, 2009, PETA released an ad of the model.
The message of the ad is to “be an angel for animals, always adopt dogs, never buy”. Krupa had appeared in three previous ads for PETA, all speaking out against wearing fur. In an April 2009 cover story with Aventura Business Monthly, Krupa said she was first motivated to promote PETA when she saw video of animals being skinned alive in China for their fur.
Since autumn 2010, Krupa has hosted and served as the head judge on Poland’s Next Top Model. In 2012, Krupa was announced as one of the new cast members on The Real Housewives of Miami, which premiered on September 13. Her sister, Marta Krupa, also appears on the show.
