Dialysis facility approved in Columbus

JACKSON, Miss. — The state Department of Health has approved a certificate of need for satellite dialysis facility in Columbus.

The state of Mississippi requires a CON in a process designed to avoid duplication of health care services and control costs.

RCG Mississippi Inc. – doing business as Lowndes County Dialysis Columbus – will relocate 10 stations from its End Stage Renal Disease facility in Columbus to a satellite site near U.S. Highway 45.

The estimated capital expenditure cost is $1.4 million.
