Danielle Lineker made all heads turn as she walked the red carpet in a blue gown with a risqué thigh-high split. Stars gathered on the red carpet to honour Kevin Spacey at a gala at the Old Vic in London. But all eyes were on Danielle Lineker as she stepped out in a stunning blue dress. The event was to celebrate Kevin Spaceys 11-year tenure as Artistic Direction of the theatre.
Gary Linekers 35-year-old wife teamed the dress with a silver clutch and nude heels. Also making a fashion impact was Downton Abbey actress Elizabeth MxGovern, who wore an unusual black dress. And it looked like shed taken inspiration from the 1920s character for her gorgeous hair style.Her on-screen husband Hugh Bonneville was there too, with his off-screen wife Lulu Williams.Actor Adam Garcias wife Nathakia also looked stunning in a floor length silver gown. And Jeremy Irons was joined by his wife Sinead Cusack and sister Niamh Cusack.
Danielle Maria Lineker (née Bux) is a Welsh model, television personality and actress. Danielle made her modelling début in 1999 wining a place on the coveted Miss Hawaiian Tropic beauty pageant in Las Vegas. Since she has graced both stage and screen, and adorned the covers of prestigious magazines. She is married to former English footballer Gary Lineker. Danielle is a patron of wildlife and conservation charity The Born Free Foundation.
She attended Cantonian High School in Fairwater where she sat 8 GCSEs and 3 A-levels. Subsequently Danielle chose to study History, Sociology and French at A-level. Bux also achieved Advanced Level 2 in Ballet in her youth.
As mentioned Lineker started modelling (working as Danielle Bux) as a teenager after winning a place in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic contest in Las Vegas, USA. She became a model and has since modeled for various brands, including La Senza, and appeared on the cover of various magazines including, HELLO!, OK Maxim and Fabulous. Bux assisted Sir Trevor McDonald onstage at the 2008 National TV Awards.
She finished in third place in the 2009 series of ITV’s Hell’s Kitchen and in June and July 2009 she was a guest panellist on ITVs Loose Women. Billed as Danielle Lineker, she made her stage debut in Calendar Girls at the Bristol Hippodrome, beginning 26 January 2011.
Danielle has acted in the film We are the Freaks, a teen comedy directed by Justin Edgar and produced by Alex Usborne at 104 Films. Danielle appeared in “Responsible Other” a play by Melanie Spencer, she played Head Teacher Miss Lewis, the play ran at Hampstead Theatre during June 2013. The play was in high regard with critics gaining a 4 star review by both The Times and The Independent. Danielle also appeared in BBC’s critically acclaimed Silent Witness in early 2013.
