Paraná liberates R$ 30 million for medicines

São Paulo, 10 of July of 2007 – the paranaense government liberated R$ 30 million for a new medicine purchase to take care of the patients of the public net of health. They will be benefited carrying of illnesses with renal insufficience, Alzheimer, transplantados, refractory schizophrenia, metastático carcinoma, cancer of breast and lung, cerebral tumor, renal insufficience, refractory epilepsy, anorexy and multiple sclerosis.
Beyond medicines, the government also liberated more R$ 1 million for the location of concentrators of domiciliary oxygen destined to the attendance of the patients of the Only System of Saúde (SUS). These devices are on to the electric net and filter nitrogen of air, leaving to pass only the oxygen. For the stability of the flow it does not have necessity to recharge the system manually.
In last the three months, the government liberated about R$ 150 million for the medicine purchase. The great majority of the resources is destined to take care of the patients of the bonanza medicine program.
