Ms. Namita Nayyar: You started as a singer and doing acting at a very young age. You since your teenage years, did appearances on Ireland’s “The Late Late Show”, presenting Irish morning television, appearing on nationwide radio stations, theatrical appearances at Dublin’s Tivoli Theatre, as a regular guest star on RTE’s “The Republic of Telly” and as a contestant on TV3’s top rated “Celebrity Salon”. You reached the pinnacle of success in 2014 with TV3 show “Nadia Goes To Hollywood”. Tell us about your journey that took you to where you are now in the world of singing and acting?
Ms. Nadia Forde: I have always sung and acted, as well as modelled. The modelling took off more when I was younger and I was lucky enough to go to some amazing places and this opened some other doors for me from there I began to do more TV work and then I was offered the amazing opportunity to record songs out in LA and document it for back home.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: In 2014, you did touring and promoting your first single “BPM” in the UK, Ibiza and Miami, which reached number 8 in the Urban Club chart in the UK. Tell us about this endeavor of yours?
Ms. Nadia Forde: I love touring and being on stage- I often say I wish I could bring everyone up there with me! It is hard work, living out of suitcases and not really having any time to spend with friends and family- but worth it to do what you love doing.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you shall like to share?
Ms. Nadia Forde: I love spinning classes- I have recently started weight lifting as well. I think it is important to mix up your routine and do classes you like.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Ms. Nadia Forde: I just try and eat healthily- I do prefer to follow a gluten free diet, where possible as I have some stomach problems and find this helps.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have glowing skin and gorgeous hair. Do you take some kind of skin treatment to keep it young and glowing and secondly what you do to your hair to make them look so stunning?
Ms. Nadia Forde: Thanks so much! I just make sure I take my makeup off after work- I barely wear it on days off! And moisturizer. I keep it simple and just take off makeup with a wipe and always use rich moisturizers. I am often called Granny Forde, for my love of sleeping and staying in! A good nights sleep is so important.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You took part in the fourteenth series of the ITV hit show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.. Tell us about this experience of yours?
Ms. Nadia Forde: I am Celeb was a weird and wonderful experience- I met some amazing people and did things I never imagined I would do- being in a coffin with rats for one! It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience.
